  • What if I’m sick? Ate very little yesterday (mostly toast) but did log it in my diary. Won’t let me compete diary because it’s less than 1000 cal. Am I suppose to just lie and add things (like maybe 5 donuts) to get it up to 1k?
  • I FOUND IT!! It on the bottom of the food diary on the phone app!! When I was writing these comments I was on my PC and is not on the food diary there, but it is on the phone app! YEA!! I am so happy!
  • That might help. I have all that set up but all it shows is the daily step goal, not how many steps I actually had for any given day. I forgot to look again last night, and by the time I did it was after midnight, so I have no idea how many steps I took yesterday. . . well I know how many I had taken by 9pm, but not the…
  • I don't see anything - just the extra calories I earned for the day. Do I need to 'turn on' something for it to be tracked? :(
  • There are a lot of us in this boat! I came into this world weighing 9 lbs & 10oz and by the time I hit 25 I was over 200 lbs. By 45 I had just finished grad school and had nudged up to 300; got on Jenny Craig and lost 50 lbs for my daughter's wedding, then went back to old habits and by 60 was back up to 300. Been on so…
  • LOVE YOUR PIC!! You've lost a LOT of weight. You give the rest of us HOPE!!
  • DONT ASSUME THE NEGATIVE!! (we all do, it's human nature, I think.) I'll bet they are say "WOW, Look at KMMM!!" Has she lost weight or what??" They are all trying to figure out what you've done and they don't know you well enough to just come up to you and as. Just smile smuggly!! YOU KNOW A SECRET!! I didn't buy any new…
  • Yes she will!!
  • A family member went on a physican directed diet (chiropractor) within the last year that included HCG and 800 calories/day with no exercise needed. She lost 120 in about 9 months. . . . but she also lost all of her hair and is now having to wear a wig. She looks like somebody on chemo. My hair dresser said she sees that…
  • I agree with those who are telling you to keep coming back to the forums and reading about others' success. It really helps me stay motivated.
  • Westman67 - Never eating at a fast food joint in 2012 is almost unrealistic. It's doing it every day that got most of us were we are today, not when we just do it occasionally. And it makes a difference what we choose when fast food is our only option. Things come up that we were unable to foresee. Plus McDonalds the only…
  • When I hit 300 for the 2nd time in my life (Jan 2011) I knew I had to do something more permenant and not just lose, regain, lose regain. It too me awhile, I started walking, but not really monitoring food, and lost of few lbs, but in June started for real. I've lost ALMOST 60 lbs (heheheheeeehehehee - "almost" makes me…
  • My doc-recommended-program has me on 30g of protein by mid morning. You stack up on protein first thing and you won't get so hungry throughout the day! It really does work!
  • THANKS!! That was the problem. First loooked at MFP about 18 months ago and entered a weight back then. Didn't start really using it until June 2011 and by then was just a pound or two heavier. :embarassed: MFP was calculating my weight from way back when, rather than from when I started really trying to lose in June. I'm…
  • We go with the Kids meal - turkey on wheat with light mayo - apples and milk. Very satisfying!
