I have never heard it given a name before, but it must be a bone structure thing, in part at least. In the summer, before I got back into running properly (ie before I lost any weight) I noticed I have this if I lie in a certain position- I remember thinking that if someone walked past the head end of my sun lounger and…

Mine are: Tea with semi skimmed milk Butter (ha) Special K Original Olive oil Semi-skimmed milk Fat free raspberry yoghurt (Danone Activia) Northeast stottie Pure squeezed orange juice Onions Carrots The tea and butter are what I expected. I cannot figure out how the Special K and semi-skimmed milk got separated by olive…

We lost all power at work so everyone was sent home - but I was already off anyway.

I am trying to remember the last time I had a glass of wine ..... and I can't. Queue the puns about drinking and blackouts  I know the last glass of wine I had was more than 75 days ago (that's how long I have been logging for) .... I did share a Peroni lager about a week ago! :blushing:

Bump for later - I have some of these on my list, but need to check out some of the others. Rudimental have made it to my playlist recently. Also Lets Go from the Calvin Harris album 18 Months - great for getting up those hills!

Hi I am on the south coast (uk not us) and have an open diary. On my 50th consecutive day and counting
-
Bruising. I have never been prone to bruises, now I am covered in them after doing a bit of painting and decorating. My calves are horrendously bruised from my stepladder. Wasn't here to lose much weight, but guess I must be a bit short on some vitamins or iron.

No-one in the 'real world' knows I am tracking what I eat. I didn't have a great deal of weight to lose and i carry a bit of extra weight well (or dress it well maybe), if I said I wanted to lose a bit of weight to people I know they would immediately ask why and be astounded. I therefore find myself using a lot of excuses…

Another south coaster here with an open diary. I'll be honest, I probably don't eat enough, but I don't do junk food and I religiously log everything apart from water (drink too much of it to bother!). Oh, and I like to run  edited because I hate typos :blushing:

I do this too! I did it this morning in fact. Said "hello sweetheart" to a dog. Blanked the owner :blushing:

Hi all :blushing:

That's the one, EDNOS. I couldn't remember the name, but I have read something saying it is disordered eating rather than an eating disorder (fine line, I say).
-
^^This. And it is possible to have disordered eating, which is not the same as an eating disorder (confusing, I know). I am not an expert, but I believe this means your view of food has changed from what is classed as 'normal'. For example, someone could eat 2,000 calories a day, which on the face of it would be perfectly…

Hi, I see you have an open food diary and I haven't looked back very far, but from what I can see, you have some great days, even eating back your exercise calories, and some very low calorie days. I wonder what the factor is on those low calories days that makes you restrict your food intake. It could be stress, or…

Quick update: I haven't managed to get anywhere near the shops yet to look into getting new trainers (I work in the middle of nowhere!), but I have been doing the C25k exercises I found on the NHS website, both as a warm up and a cool down. This morning I went for a shorter run and ... no pain or heat in the knee. Yay. I…

http://www.riverford.co.uk/recipes/view/recipe/chocolate-courgette-cake Chocolate Courgette Cake We like to use this recipe to persuade children of the virtues of vegetables. It is a regular feature on the lunch menu we prepare for Landscove Primary School and the children seem to love it. Category pudding & cake recipes…

My cousin bakes chocolate courgette and chocolate beetroot cakes to get veggies into her kids without them noticing!

Hi, I kept getting that error message yesterday too!

Ok, thanks. I am not in pain when I run, it's a bit hot and tender at other times (I gather this is pretty typical). I do yoga, but I guess I will have to look at incorporating some other training too, I have thought about joining a gym, but haven't set foot in one for about 12 years or so - after getting a bit hooked on…

Ok, some helpful stuff there - thanks for the article. I do make sure I stretch my legs well before I set off, but I should perhaps look at replacing my shoes (not that old, but not that new either). Re the heart rate, I am not out of breath at all at 160 bpm and can still speak comfortably at 175bpm, so I will just adjust…

Wow! Great response. Thanks guys and hi

Me too!

I would like to exercise every day, but sometimes only have time for a dog walk. When I do exercise, I want to burn at least 250 calories or I am disappointed. Because I weigh 54 kg, I have to run 4 miles to burn 300. However, I have just bought a heart rate monitor today and I believe I mah have been underestimating my…
