I am a bit taller than you (5'1") and I have been working on 1700-ish a day. I calculated my TDEE with Fat2Fit or something... Actually I can't remember. All I know is it is working for me.

I like strength training, so I don't know how much I actually burn, but I guess 300 calories.

What do you mean no sugar or protein left? What are your macros set as? Chances are, you can eat more of those things unless you have an underlying problem. Without seeing your diary, I can suggest veggies, a slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter or something?

I am 5'1" too and I aim for 1700-1900 calories a day because that's usually how much I want. I have done up the calculators and they seem to agree with that.

I have my three main meals, and then at least 3 snacks. I like to graze :)

I used to dye my own hair when it was black, that's easy. Now though? I have gone lighter and trying to get the black out? Yeesh, no, I won't dye it myself now.

21st birthday? I hung out with some friends and had a few drinks. Legal age is 19 here though. That night I went to my first bar and got hammered. Not as glamourous as it sounds though.

So he has to stop hanging out with her? That's not fair. Either let it go, or don't, but don't expect him to go with it. Just because someone thought they were dating doesn't mean anything. People are dumb and always assume things.

You could talk to him instead of us? See what was meant by the comments and such. If it isn't working, it isn't working. Fix it or don't, but I don't think you can force it to work. You said it was almost a year ago? Either let it go, or leave. Is he still saying these things?

The first stage of New Rules is to get you used to trying to do weights. You can do it for as long, or as short as you like. Since you are a beginner, you would at least want to start there. If you want to know anything else about it, let me know :)

I measure monthly because then I can see bigger losses. You can start whenever :)

I write my stuff down too. That way I know where I left off last session and I can see if I am improving or not. As for MFP, log it under cardio-> Strength Training. Better than nothing!

Sounds like fun! I wish we had stuff like that where I live. Oh well. I would think it would be worth while logging. Not cardio, per se, but it should be a good endurance work out. I hope you get some helpful answers!

I have been wearing mine for strength training too. It tells me about 350-400 depending on the warm up I do.

I get in about 3 hours a week lifting things. I used to get more when it was nice out. I just cannot stand running indoors, and the tennis courts are wet :(

Body fat % is a better measuremebt, but it isn't always accurate either. As long as you use the same method every time, you should know where you stand. You might also just think that because you are on the larger side right now. Work you way to it, adjust your goals accodingly. Go by how you feel.

I have eaten it with a tomato meat/veg sauce. It isn't exactly pasta, but it works for me. I can eat a whole lot for a little calorie wise. I think it is a great option.
