Hi all, I am 56 and have always struggled with my weight. Things have happened to my body that I never thought would!! And although I remain active and eat right it's just not as easy as it used to be. I mostly struggle with fatigue, I feel like I've lost my "mojo". So, here I am looking for support and finding it! It's so…

As I get to know everyone I will add my feed back but feeling like the newbie I think it best to get to know you all first  However to Moondoggz: No! there can never, ever be enough coffee!!…

I just found this thread and it is fantastic! My goals for this month: Enjoy some of my exercise more, for example taking a beautiful invigorating walk outside instead of making myself reach a mile/time goal on the treadmill, swimming with my grandson instead of laps in the pool, etc.. Log my food intake religously and…

Most people will be happy for you and admire your desire to become fit. The rest of them? Well, they just don't matter and aren't even worth your thoughts.

that did happen to me once and it turned out to be a sprain - BUT - you really should have it checked. The doctor treating me that day said a sprain can hurt worse than a break. Good luck!!

such words of wisdom from such a young'un. How great that you figured it out early in life rather than waiting 30 years like some of us ;).

simple but effective: squeeze your buns several times an hour while you're sitting at your desk

I have resorted to wearing a rubber band on my wrist and snapping it (hard!) when I reach mindlessly for a snack I don't even really want. This is my second day, so far so good, but time will tell.......

yep, I agree with Cmccracke1, I had the same problem but with the new shoes the pain disappeared. Couldn't hurt to try at any rate

I did the same thing yesterday. Had dinner with friends and ate whatever was in front of me. But today is a new day, let's make a new start. A psychologist I heard speak at a seminar once said the average binge causes you generally to gain less than 1/2 pound, so let's balance ourselves today and we'll be fine.

oh my gosh, been there, done that. Try to remember that NOW is the time to stop it, before you gain back the 16 pounds and have to start all over again. You can do it!! Try just one day at a time and you will get your mojo back!
