So, I think you're calories are way to high to LOSE weight. I would take it back down to about 1300 to 1400 calories. I am 5'11" and 170 (stopped doing MFP and gained 10 pounds from 160). I like to do calorie confusion. It's not rocket science, although they like to make you think it is. You just adjust your calories up…

I am 5'11", currently 166. Looking to get into the mid 150's

Hey, I am 5'11" and 166 lbs (I have lost 8 pounds). My caloric intake per day, to lose 1 lb per week, is 1600 calories. I actually lost 3 lbs last week!! Anyways, something I do when I have plateued is just what you said, calorie confusion. If your body can't regulate itself ont he amount of calories it can expect to take…

I wear high heels. In fact, I was just looking for a new pair of black heels. My husband reminded me I already have a pair. I reminded him that those only had a two inch heel and I wanted at least a four inch heel. I feel so feminin in my heels. I also love to walk into the room, all dressed up, and people's heads turn.…

I am 5'11" also and started at 174. I currently weight 162. I am trying to get down to 157. I haven't done anything extreme to lose my weight though. In fact, from the very beginning I said this was going to be a lifestyle change, so that's why it has taken me four months to lost just 12 pounds. It's come off slowly, but I…

Hi! I know that for myself, I lost 12 pounds super quick and have had such a hard time with the last 10. I have tried everything, but it just doesn't seem to want to come off!!

Whenever I hit a wall, I calorie confuse my body. If my calorie baseline is 1800 per day, I will go two days with 1300, then spike it up to 1600, take it down to maybe 1400, then back up to 1800. Your body can't keep up so your metablism stays high. It works for me!

Thank you so much! I am definitely motivated to keep working hard. Hopefully in one year, I will also see some definition!

Hey! I am 31 and started at 174. I have lost 12 pounds so far. It's been over a four month period of time, but I want to do this as a lifestyle change and not a yoyo diet. I would love to be your friend and give each other support.

Feel free to add me too!

 One of my favorite snacks is what my family refers to as "shingles" because it reminds them of the shingles on your roof. Anyways, it's two rye crackers by Wasa, one slice of reduced fat swiss cheese sliced in half (one half for each cracker), and two slices of lean turkey lunch meat (one slice per cracker). I will…

Hello! Oh yes, I agree that in order to stick to your new eatting habits and lifestyle (not a diet) you need to have SOMETHING to look forward too. My free day is not the same day every week though, usually. I evaluate my week and see what day would be good to have my free day, such as a birthday that week, anniversary,…

Hello, I have gained four pounds between weigh-ins (I weigh once a week), but it has been around my period. Once my period is over, I drop the added weight, plus some. I will say that even eating a few goodies will not only add calories, but salt content, which in turn makes you bloated because of the water weight. I would…
