My boyfriend does support me wanting to lose some weight and generally get fitter, but at the same time he buys me chocolate and most times that I am at his for dinner he orders takeaway. My housemates on the other hand, one of them is really good and drags me out running/to the gym, and another just takes the mick out of…

Looks like an awesome list!

I can't see why caffeine would be bad for a diet - it's a stimulant, so if anything it should help you to lose weight. Also it is a natural diuretic, but it you're drinking the recommended amount of water per day anyway, I don't think you'll have a problem

I did day 6 this morning, yay for managing 6 days in a row! I even managed some of the press-ups on my feet instead of knees today. Only about 3 mind you, but it's still an improvement  I'm off to stay with the boyfriend for the weekend and not bothering to take any gym clothes with me so it will be at least 1 if…

No no nonono! Frazzles are icky, and more salty than bacon. Put the bacon on a plate, pour boiling water over it, then cook it. Less salty, just as tasty. Also... if this is "English" bacon... what the hell kinda bacon do the rest of you eat? I always assumed that bacon was bacon....

Glad to hear it is not just me

It really depends on how much exercise I have done. If I've had a day of being bored revising (like most at the moment haha) then I generally eat less healthily and will exercise in order to earn enough calories to eat what I want. If I have a more interesting day with less time available for eating, and then go for a…

You have no idea how long I have just spent trying to say these 2 in my best American accent and coming out with exactly the same sound for both of them

This is my most hated bit of level 1! If I actually manage to stick my bum out instead of bending my knees forward the way she yells at you not to do, I seem to be incapable of actually lifting my weights up to my eyes.... Not sure if I am really uncoordinated or what! Anyway, day 4 done, I think parts of it are getting…

This made me grin  Also more specifically "Naaaaarfuk (Norfolk).... do you all have webbed feet?" Apparently we are all inbred! Also while living in London, I get "that's in the north right?" because it is north of the M25 (the big motorway that circles London)!!

Most of my lunches are sandwiches. Always have been since I first went to school with a packed lunch at the age of 4 or 5. I think it would be unrealistic for me to cut them out of my diet. I eat a mixture of white and brown, depending on what I fancy on the day. I have been losing weight at about my target rate since I…

Wow well done you, that's a massive improvement in a week and a half! Keep it up!

Hey there, I'm 23 and living in London, feel free to add me too if you like :)

This. A lot of people have bad use of the English language - using "have to eat somewhere" can easily be understood to mean "I want to fit in with all my friends, we are going there and I want to eat the best I can in this situation". Unless of course you are being deliberately facetious and making a point out of it. I…

I just finished day 3 this evening when my housemate came home and announced we were going for a run. (This is how it works in my house - my housemate knows I am lazy, so he doesn't ask if I want to exercise, he just tells me we are going) I am in PAIN. The insides of my thighs have never done so much in one day! I am…

Hahahaha I do that too!!

I don't suppose anyone has done the Hampstead Heath one (London)? I only just discovered parkrun from another thread, and I'm trying to find motivation to go on Saturday, but I've agreed to do group revision with some friends this week, then next week is only 2-3 days before my first end of year exam, and then the week…

For me, this calculation comes out as 1 calorie different to when I log 20 minutes of "circuit training, general" on the MFP database, which is how I'd been doing it. Nice to know it's accurate :)

I forgot about this one! Especially kitkats, all the chocolate goes from the outside, then you have to eat the wafer layer by layer. Things like cheeseburgers and sandwiches are the same - the outside is always a bit dry with the tastiest bit in the middle, and the best bit has to be last!
-
That's really cool, I didn't know anything about parkrun either, definitely looks like something to check out!

There are a lot of things that I just don't like, but I don't think you'd really call them quirks.... Except, I can't stand leaving a couple of bits of food on a plate. I mean, if you've eaten the whole plateful, would it really kill you to eat those last 2 peas?!?! Or to make sure that you scoop up that last little bit of…

I was really proud of myself a few days ago when even my dad said "I can really tell that you've lost weight". He is usually totally oblivious to these kind of things. It doesn't mean they are saying "you used to be so fat", it means they are saying "you are doing so well, keep it up!" I know it can be hard to see it that…

Day 2: infinitely more painful than day 1. My arms/shoulders/chest do not love me right now!
-
I love the rhino - unicorn one, really makes me go awwwwwwh!

I did day 1 last night, and my neck/shoulders are SO SORE this morning! Most of it felt okay while I was doing it, just my arms were really wobbly. Thinking 2kg weights was a bit too ambitious! But I don't have any others sooo I'd better man up a bit I think. Just not sure how to make my neck not feel like it's about to…

I haven't got around to trying this one yet either, but I assumed it was like her other videos which I think it's suggested to do 5-6 times a week. Hopefully someone who has done it can tell us :P

Hmm, apparently with the ingredients I just used they have 145 calories... so I don't know how mine have ended up more fattening! Maybe a different kind of cocoa I guess. They look and smell amazing though, just waiting impatiently for them to cool now so I can try them!!
