I too used to eat well over 2500 calories a day of just junk food and I've been thin all my life. Once I started tracking what I eat and working out I lost the fat in my face but remained the same everywhere else except toned. My diary is always open.

For some reason there is a myth going around that you can't get strength AND do lots of cardio. Glad to know I can do both! Thank you!

Yeah I hate that term "girly pushup"! I just couldn't remember the word modified for some reason when I was writing this!

I'd definitely think about uping your daily caloric intake. For your height and size you need around 1800 calories a day to maintain your body's functions as well as leaving some to burn when working out. Calories aren't bad when youre eating the right things. They are what fuel your body and makes your brain function.

On livestrongwoman's youtube channel, there is a series of HIIT to lose weight and gain strength. Starting with those and maybe trying out a couch to 5k jogging/running guide will give you more endurance! I pair a full body workout video with a video of whatever body part I am working out that day. I also try to do pilates…
