21.32 miles for me today. All these crazy challenges, I'm not keeping track- sorry. I'll remember triple day for Saturday though!

I do cross-fit. crossfit.com and militaryathlete.com have some pretty rad workouts. I'll usually combine a couple of the crossfit.com ones. I lead a remedial PT for my husbands platoon and torture them with cross-fit. I can message you some of my workouts if you want.

I have no idea what days are double days. I think Saturday is a triple day... but I'm not sure. I haven't really been keeping up with all the different challenges and what not.
-
Thursday is a double day? If so I got 15.72 miles (786 calories) Double that for: 31.44 miles for Thursday July 14. No miles for Wednesday- had a shoulder injury from climbing and decided to rest.
-
Tuesday (climbing and my normal calisthenics routine): 1066 calories = 21.32 miles. Is today a double day, I forget? If so, double miles for 42.64.

I hope you have fun in Myrtle Beach- that's where I got married... we're actually heading there on the 22nd this month. We live a couple hours away. Have a blast. Sunday: 997calories = 19.94 miles. Not as much as I was thinking, but I got so much done today instead of simply working out!
-
what did we end up with yesterday?
-
What is Sunday's challenge?

Total burn for today: 1456 calories= 29.12miles double miles= 58.24 and that's how it's done. Time to do some yoga and relax for the rest of the day. Tomorrow will be a minimal day and then I'll be going for big numbers all next week (no kid, no husband= me at the gym all the time)! Way to be awesome, everyone!
-
awesome job on the banner!
-
Goal for tomorrow is 1100 calories (22 miles). I've got yoga; workout with a client; and then gym time for myself. My son gets picked up by grandparents tomorrow and my husband is in the field all night... I'm sure I'll get in a nice little run in the evening as well. Thursday's miles: 13.82 miles
-
Wednesday= 16.26 miles. (813 calories) Thunderstorm blew in and is making my scheduled run for the night a no-go :( Oh well, I'll be working on big burns Thursday- Saturday since I'll be back on 2-a-days.
-
Friday I'll be hitting the gym hard and then doing some cross-fit- those are usually my big burn days! Hopefully we get a couple double days next week... my child will be visiting grandparents and my husband will be in the field- so all I'll do is workout and try to get in some nice long runs! not going to log my total for…
-
Tuesday was my rest day... getting back to it today!
-
What did he do to burn that many calories? That seems a little on the ridiculous side...
-
Monday= 8.36 miles (unless we really do get double miles... then it's 16.72)
-
Hey shipmates- I saw on a couple other teams walls that today is double miles day! So we'll be able to double whatever we burn today. That gives me a little more incentive for a big burn today! Hope all of my American shipmates have a great 4th!
-
Sunday= 18.02 miles
-
alright HULL YEAH shipmates... we need to pick up the pace and row a little harder! I just looked at the map, which didn't seem too bad- until I zoomed out and saw that some ships are way ahead of us! I'll be playing soccer and going for a run tomorrow- that'll be a big burn day for me. Hope everyone gets out there and…

Friday= 9.02 miles Saturday= 13.86 miles

same question on my end!
-
Nevermind- I got it!
-
I don't have excel... is there anyway I can record my calories and convert them to miles? Didn't I read that 50 calories= 1 mile? Let me know how I can do it. I'm at 451 calories for today (that's 9.02 miles). Thanks!
-
Thank you everyone!

I'm in- this will give me motivation to up my miles in preparation for 2 half's I've got coming up!

I try to workout 5-6 days a week and every couple of weeks I'll do 2-a-days. I workout for usually 1-1.5 hours per session. During regular days I typically do a little cardio and then strength training and during 2-a-days I will weight train in the morning and do cardio in the afternoon. I do a lot of cross-fit, weight…

That's the whole thing- starving yourself and over exercising WON'T get you to where you want to be. Haven't you ever heard that it's 70% diet and 30% exercise? That's the truth! You have to eat well to be able to lose the weight.
-
That's a great morning ritual! I can do 52 in the 90 second time frame. I'm going to have to work on this one- I like it! I also have back problems (fractured C5, C6, and L5 when I was 15)- and the BEST thing I've ever done for my back was to start doing push-ups and other core work.

Try inputting your information on this website: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm Then you get a few different options for a good range.

that's a lot of calories burned to have eaten so few. You're not doing your body any favors by working out viciously and then not eating much. Your body needs to be able to recover from long workout sessions, and it needs fuel to replenish your muscles. If you aren't getting proper rest and nutrition, then you're making…
