  • WOW I have had a similar journey from size 18 to 10/12. I am now able to do so much more and have enjoyed the journey. Just learned how to SCUBA this summer and am really loving it. I am very glad for you, sounds like you are working real hard to keep loosing. I have hit a plateau and even doing 2hrs a day hasn't broken…
  • I can almost 100% correlate my stinky moods to having had something with high sugar or flour content the day before. I think it is a reaction to craving more. When I stay away from such foods my stinking thinking goes away, I don't judge others or myself. Wishing you a better day.
  • Great job keep up the good work. May I ask what you are doing different that really made the difference?
  • You can walk anywhere, I also bring my resistance bands which travel well. If I am staying at a hotel, I search for one with a pool - the best exercise even if you are just moving for an hour.
  • keep up the great job, I heard that varying it helps you to keep loosing.
  • keep up the good work, it seems to be working.
  • I am doing water aerobics 4-5 times a week for 90 minutes, and doing 30 mins of bicycling and 30 mins of tread mill 2 days a week. And I am staying at the 1200 calories most every day and still only loosing 2 pounds a week. Hate to think what would be happening if I didn't work out.
  • Nice job, you can definitely see the difference. Keep up the great work.
  • If you go into the setup, you can have your daily tracker show the sodium levels in food. I am very affected by the sodium and try to stay under 500grams per day. The program allows 2200g and I never loose if I have that much.
  • I have a 1200 cal a day goal, but I do not eat more even if I exercise because I wouldn't loose anything either. Obviously there is a couple days a month I allow myself to eat those extra calories. I am working out six days a week, four of them for 90mins of water aerobics and the other 2 days 60 minsof walking and…
  • Hi, I looked at a couple days of your food and you are keeping your calories in check but I have found you really need to eat an ounce or two of a lean protein with all your meals otherwise you might be triggering too much insulin and that shuts down your metabolism. Also I agree with the other reply that mentions drinking…
  • Great advice about eating more to loose. I have gone to 1200 cal/day and I am loosing 2-3 pounds a week. I am working out six days a week though. The reminder about the water is just what I learned as well, the program I am on recommends 100ozs a day to help flush out the toxins and fat you are burning. I was wondering how…
  • Hi, I am new to the message boards, but have been logging my food and exercise for a month. Love this website and tell all my friends about it. I am about 25% there to my goal weight. Have learned a lot more about how many carbs and sodium are in different foods using this program. Goals for May: Exercise Goal: keep…

  • Hi Kaythy, I find setting gentle limits with others who want to use food to show their love is the best bet. Ask for a single slice (or 2) and then eat only what you think is what you should have 3-4 oz of meat. Another thought is to just leave it and ask to take the rest home for another meal. Good luck, A mom and…
  • I have learned from Provida, that using tension bands or band fixed in the middle to a stationary point behind you at your shoulder height. Pull bands around you and in at chest height. You can use a chair with the band around the back of the chair. Don't come all the way together in front of you stop about a foot apart. I…
  • Yes it is very noticable. Love your braveness for posting pictures, not sure I am ready to show any pictures.
