Spinning only because it's the fastest calorie burner for me personally. But 2nd is kickboxing or zumba.

I tried a Zumba DVD once and hated it. I go to Zumba at the gym about 3X a week. Not only do I love it, but I've made lots of "friends" in the class and they miss you if you aren't there!

Not trying to be harsh, but if you got rid of that 20 tsp of coffee creamer in the morning and replaced it with something else, I bet that would help.

I use my heart rate monitor only. I also don't include things like the walk you took (just me personally). I just use HRM for workouts I do at the gym etc.

Very important to take a rest day! I learned this the hard way. I didn't take any rest days last summer and lost my period from working out too hard. Now, I take one full rest day a week. I don't do any exercise on my rest day and just go about my business. Take at least ONE a week- seriously!

I avoid cottage cheese for this very reason! I would bloat terribly from the cup or so I was consuming! They do have low sodium brands out there. Warning, they just taste "different!"

Whatever I want- even PJs. I work at home and no one can see me over the phone.

Same!! Maybe it's because I usually work out at lunch time so I eat later on work out days. Yesterday was my rest day and I ate more than usual!!

I wouldn't worry as much as you are. When I see some beginners at the gym or heavier people than myself, I think " Good for them!" You have to start somewhere, and it doesn't happen overnight. Keep on truckin!!

I know they are pure chemicals, but if you need to eat something, eat a couple sugar free popsicles- 15 cals each!

I would try it out and if you are in pain, then STOP. Or do any modifications that are offered during the DVD. You and your hubby are so cute in your pic. Is he still a SAHD?

Are you hungry or just bored? I really have to ask myself this if I am debating a snack about an hour before bed. I CANNOT sleep if I'm hungry, so if I truly am, I have a small treat, like a skinny cow ic sandwich. But if I'm just bored, I pick a show to watch or pick up my kindle.

I used to weigh every day but stopped because it was determining how I felt about myself that day. Now, I weigh on on Sat mornings and I"m paying attention to how my clothes fit.

About $250 a week. We do not eat out at all, though.

Sorry, actually about 350 cals- 1 1/4 vanilla almond milk and 1/2 frozen banana. I'm just trying this for a week to see if I see any difference. I tend to eat a really healthy breakfast planned out- egg whites, peppermint tea, some chicken, but then ruin it by snacking on my kids' cereal while I'm getting them breakfast!!

How about a particular pair of pants that are a bit snug? They are the best indicator for me!

Exactly this! I learned the hard way about NOT taking a rest day. Today is my rest day actually and I plan to enjoy it and be energized and ready to go for my workout tomorrow night.

We spend anywhere from 250-300 a week on our family of four. We do not eat any meals out at all and have 2 very hungry growing boys. I know it's alot, but....
