For some reason, I can do an hour workout with weights, HIIT, etc, but the amount of food I needed to fuel my runs was just more calories than I really needed. Bad run- my first and only half marathon I had to make 4 porta potty stops with the runs- badly! Good run- I love running in the cold in the winter and feeling like I could run forever.

I did one in March and trained for about 9 months. I didn't run more than once a week. My time was 2.13. My advice is to keep up the running, but do other exercise as well!

Yep, happened it me 2 years ago. I am 5'3 and went from 134 to 125. I lost my period for 6 months. You need to eat more. After I put back on about 7 lbs it came back! I'm older than you (37) and done having kids.

I just discovered Kroger carb master yogurts- 60 cals and they taste like pudding! Yes they have artificial sweetener but oh well!

I really like Think Thin Bars. I think they have 20G protein. I love Quest bars too, but they make me want to keep eating sweets afterwards because they are so sweet!

I don't use my scale anymore- it was driving me crazy! I use my clothes now. They are a much better indicator.

As some of the others said- having a small snack before dinner is key. I've tried not snacking before dinner and all it does is make me ravenous for dinner and I eat more.

No, I don't tell myself to indulge just because of TOM. However, if I'm extra hungry that week and eat a little more than I should, I just don't beat myself up and move on.
