YES! A little goes a long way. You can get the flavor without a lot of calories. No need to shun one of the greatest foods ever. ;)

Its not in your list but we love braised red cabbage. saute it in a small amount of oil, salt, and pepper. then add some cooking wine and either honey or molasses to taste. then once its cooked, remove it from the heat and finish it with some balsamic vinegar. Its excellent.

I would stick with how you feel. Are you famished? If so, then yes, consume those additional calories because your body needs them. But if you're not that hungry, don't force it. It is my belief that those calories burned are just estimates. There is no guarantee you burned those 1000 calories, so there is no guarantee you…
