Are your exercises syncing over to MFP? I just got a Gear S3 and my steps sync but did a 32 minute walking workout and it didn't sync to MFP. Just wondering if I'm the only one.

This thread AGAIN?

Thanks, folks. Yes it is basically an ecig, just with a larger battery, variable voltage/wattage, and I can use a out any flavor liquid I like.

Sorry you're feeling poorly, hope it passes soon for you. For me, I switched to vapor instead of cigarettes and it's made all the difference.

Patience. Focus more on living a healthier lifestyle and the weight will take care of itself. The fit of your clothing will be a huge indicator of your progress. I remind myself of this in what you may consider an odd way. I have a pair of boxer shorts that fit me a year ago. Every once in a while I will try them on and…

Just say no. That stuff is poison. Your body was made to drink water.

I agree, this is the one I use (Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard). I usually mix it with 2% milk for the added protein from the milk. I often will add peanut butter as well, it tastes great. You can also add yogurt, banana or other fruit, pretty much anything you want.

I would strongly suggest consulting with your physician.

I just retired my FitBit Ultra and bought a One. Love it.

You don't have a postal service? You can buy them from Amazon or just about any other "mail order" website.

Sounds like a lack of fuel.

Have you tried actually following the MFP numbers, including eating back exercise calories as MFP indicates? You may simply not be eating enough calories. It's also possible you aren't losing actual weight because you are displacing fat with heavier muscle. This is indicated by the fact you are seeing a difference in your…

You have to view it as a lifestyle change and not a diet. One is a mental positive and one is a mental negative. I believe that really does make a difference. It took time to put on weight, it will take time to take it off in a healthy way. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/gpstrucker/view/attitude-266103

Check out those electronic cigarettes. It's just water vapor and nicotine (nicotine is addictive but it isn't a carcinogen). Many people have managed to quit smoking cigarettes using those things. Me, I just switched to smoking pipes, which is far better in terms of tobacco quality and the fact one doesn't actually inhale…

FItBit for sure. Love mine. I am still using the Ultra but will probably spring for the new One in the near future. I recommend reading the reviews on various websites. I have seen a lot of complaints about the Striiv, ranging from build quality to it not securely clipping to your belt/waistband. Could just be isolated…

I started out at 250lbs at my heaviest (5'11"). I am now down to around 199 or so (haven't weighed in a while). I have had my best results by following the MFP numbers, totally cutting out soft drinks, using sweetener in my morning coffee, cutting WAY down on fried foods, drinking lots of water, and getting in as much…

I use a Nike+ GPS Sport Watch with the Polar NIke+ HRM sensor. Works great, but doesn't sync with MFP so have to enter the data manually. I love the fact that I can sync it to the Nike+ website without an additional device. The USB connecter is built into the band. It also recharges the watch's battery at the same time. I…

I have lately become fond of Endomondo, and it can automatically sync to MFP.

Awesome!!!

As long as the wagon didn't run over you it's easy enough to hop back on. One thing that works well for me is to not think of it as "being on a diet" which is a negative. I instead think of it as leading a healthier lifestyle (a positive). I know it may seem silly but that change in mindset can work wonders.

If you decide to go with the FitBit make sure to measure your stride and adjust that setting, that makes it far more accurate.
-
Oh yeah, I forgot to say Welcome to MFP!

The One is one of the new FitBit models. I have an Ultra and think it's great. The One is a very similar device. You can go to the FitBit website to read about their various devices. I also have their Aria scale.

Try actually following the MFP recommended numbers and see what happens. It really does work if you use it the way it is intended.

Usually 1 scoop. Sometimes water, sometimes 2% milk. Sometimes I add in some yogurt, or maybe a tablespoon of peanut butter, or some fruit. Just depends on my mood.
