Linking apps

I'm curious if anyone knows what the best setting for linking apps are. Should I allow all apps to read and write data to each other or just read data from each other? Should I use all of the UA apps such as UA record? I have a samsung gear s3 and I currently have to use samsung health if i want it to link to mfp. Would using the other IS apps complicate things? If I link them all with read and write permissions will exercise and calories consumed be extremely higher then the actual numbers? Thank you.

For those of you that want to know. The customer support team told me that it is not recommended to link multiple apps together because that may result in double entries for calories burned and consumed. I received no answer if reading and writing data should be enabled but right now I just have reading data enabled and it seems to work well. Samsung health is being applied to mfp automatically with no duplicate entries using this setup.0

Are your exercises syncing over to MFP? I just got a Gear S3 and my steps sync but did a 32 minute walking workout and it didn't sync to MFP. Just wondering if I'm the only one.0
