This. Surprisingly, in the past 3 months I've gone from a cardio bunny and chronic undereater to really focusing on yoga, and things in my life have really calmed down, slowed down and become more centered. I still do cardio, but yoga has been incredible in so many ways. The trade off of less calories burned has been worth…

Hiiii :) I'm doing a ton of yoga lately and walking/Hiit/cycling/running for cardio. I used to be a LISS cardio bunny, now I'm really focused on getting that elusive pull up :) I love food, eat more than 1200 calories ;) and though I don't lift in a gym I lift my whole body up with my hands :) Does that count?

Wow. You are incredible, impressive, brave and so many other things I can't even wrap my mind around. Congrats on getting healthy, you look wonderful.

Depends, I think you know best what the attendees will be wearing, if you feel that you might be self conscious, then maybe something a little more casual :)

Through April 17 Me 12 The Binge 5 I've been binge free for 3 days :) Still pushing for the end of April. I've got Ragnar Relay this weekend, but hopefully good times, distractions, running and friends help me, I just have to remember to keep my stress low.

Through April 17 Me 12 The Binge 5 I've been binge free for 2 days :) my first goal is 16 days, or the end of April :) Feeling good. Being exhausted is also a trigger for me, as well as being anxious. I slowed myself down this morning despite not loving my outfit, losing my keys, and almost being late to work. I've got…

Through April 16 Me 11 The Binge 5 I successfully started over yesterday and feel really good. I had lunch, but ate around the craisins in my salad, and turned down both candy and homemade rice krispie treats. Talking to my therapist and really owning the fact that this is going be a tough battle have helped. Seeing the…

I'm definitely feeling strong enough to battle the BED today, but still thinking about it and food nonstop. To the above poster who asked questions about my workouts and my weight, you didn't offend me at all! I'm slim, yes, but at 5'2" and 110-115lbs still well within the healthy weight range. That being said, I was…

As of 4/11 Ashley: 8 Binge: 3 Days binge free 3.5 :) I'm feeling stronger. I stopped logging my exercise cals, and instead I'm just shooting for a specific calorie amount :) I can do this. It's been almost 4 days since my last binge and I'm finally losing the bloat and discomfort from gluten and dairy, now I just have to…

Hang in there!!! How is today going?

As of April 10 Ashley 7 Binge 3 I definitely ate too many tortilla chips after my long run, and they made me sick, but it wasn't an OOC binge, it was just a bad call at dinner. Days binge free, 2.5

I've just joined about a week ago, and I'm loving this group. I agree that the threads can get a little depressing as we all struggle through our BED, but I just want to say I am inspired by how strong we all are, and how hard we are fighting. I'm working really hard to understand my feelings about food. I run a lot, and…

I'm brand new, but I'm in. Ash-1 Binge-2 Does anyone have any advice on impulse control or stopping yourself in the moment?

I'm new, and I'm really scared. I've been getting progressively worse with my bingeing over the past 6 months. To the point where it's 1-2x a week and 4000+ calorie days. I don't know what to do or how to control my impulses and I'm really scared.

Good stuff :) It's always tough to read. I don't know what your take on my 2 cents is but, I started focusing on strength instead of cardio. Now, I do a 20 min strength routine at least 5 days a week, and cardio at least 5 days a week as well. However, if my schedule means I have to skip one, it's always cardio. I've…

Craigslist is a great spot but make sure you consult with or bring someone who knows bikes, a 10 year old bike can be amazing if it has good components. You won't find dual suspension for that price, but definitely some great used hard tails. I would recommend starting with a hard tail anyway. Make sure you go to a bike…
