I love Jillian Micheals 30 day shred.
-
it just depends on the workout. Last night, per my HRM doing 30 day shred, I burned 291. Your HRM will know, I would think, better than anything else because if you aren't putting the effort behind it it will show up there, not on your apps. That is how I know if I need to step up the pace or not.

Really, 1.5 lbs /week is great! If you try to lose it too fast, you have a higher chance of gaining it back. We all would like it to go faster trust me. But I don't know of any HEALTHY ways to do so. Eat right, Excercise. It will happen as it is meant to. Also, I just checked your diary. First thing is that I would get rid…

Nope certainly not. I found that as soon as the weather got cold, I started craving all of the carb heavy soups and casseroles. I just have to remind myself that I am not an animal the hibernates therfore I do NOT need to pack on the extra fat to last the whole winter.

Ok Awesome on your 20 lbs, and what a smart hubby you have! For 1) realizing there was something wrong with the mirror and 2) making you realize you are awesome to him no matter what.

I would go the whole way through with what you are weights you are currently using. Then when you finish start over with heavier weights. LIke you said, just because this particular section is easier, doesn't mean that the next will be.

I would say DON'T ramp up your body. That way you will be fuller with smaller portions. I will be trying to do as much walking as I can over that holiday week so that if I have a cookie or 3 its not going to kill me. Then just jump back into your routine as soon as you get home. Have a good time, don't sweat it just don't…

A month is really not all that long and for you to lose 3 inches, thats wonderful. It is hard mentally to back up a second and be realistic about what our bodies are doing. You are losing, have no fear. Just keep up the great work.

I hear you! I have grand plans myself. I plan on working out when I get home and then it never seems to materialize. I just need to put my foot down as well as the food..lol I don't know if you can do something with weights at lunch time.

I weigh every day to see what is happening to what I eat. I can gain and lose a couple of lbs depending on if I have drank enough water, had a high sodium day, worked out, etc. I realize that it isn't "real weight" gain and lost. Pick one day to actually "count". Or throw the scale out and measure! Real weight loss is not…

Mine says nothing about washing the strap. I have a Pyle.I wet it with water each time, I may just need to clean off the sensor area. Thanks!

I like Ruby Tuesday because of the salad bar plus their fit and trim selection is easy to know where you are calorie wise. Just stay away from the croutons... =)

Because sometimes no matter how well we had been doing, we still aren't quite ready mentally. I just have come to terms that I am going to have to excercise at least 3 times a week for the rest of my life in order to be a happy healthy individual. I don't need to go crazy and excercise every day because that is what burned…

A range is certainly better than trying to nail one magic number each day. It would drive me batty. I am ok with going over my goal number by 200 or so but not EVERY day..lol It may just very well make it easier for you to keep up with . Great idea!
-
That is awesome. I love breathing while tying shoes! Keep it up!
-
Thanks! That is what I will do then.

bump please?

Arnold sandwhich thin with 1 scrambled egg (microwaved) with 3 slices ham lunchmeat(microwaved) with 1 tsp country crock. Every morning =) Lunch is often leftovers or a slimfast with 2 cups mixed veggies.

Thats great! I know that sometimes it is very frustrating to see the scale not move but I would rather look better than weigh less!
-
I do not believe that it makes a difference to choose carb over protein. I would eat what you need to fill in your macros for the day.

In my area they have http://blessingsinabackpack.org/ This might be something that you can either participate in or get started at your school. This will help feed those kids that don't get food over the weekend.

I just googled a gram to cup conversion and it came up with .37 cup. So a 1/3 of a cup is aprox 85 grams. The other conversion calculator for Pasta, fresh, cooked, said that 85 grams is 2.98 oz.

We both work full time and the only "house work" he does is load/start the dishwasher. If I need help with something he will certainly pitch in but he does the outside stuff I do the inside and most of the child care. We have more traditional roles and that is what we agreed upon when we got married. It takes communication…

Tom's Diner by Susanne Vega. Once that song gets in my head I can't stop humming it and I can't stand it because it TAKES OVER!!

There is a difference between being fat and out of shape. I am ok with the weight I am now, I just would like it shaped a little differently thats all. So that is what you need to look at yourself.
-
I like raisins, plain, just not in other food. I am so with ya!
-
Some times you just want it. I find myself just standing in front of the fridge with my glass because i am drinking it so fast.
-
um just finished a kit kat..my bad!
-
Your weight fluctuates wildly from day to day. Please don't weigh every day without realizing this otherwise you will drive yourself crazy.
-
Thanks! Thats sorta what I gathered. Afraid that I would gain back extra if I did this.
