40lbs since the 5th Jan! Flipping hard work too but lots more to lose!

Well done! I like my alcohol too so i'm losing much slower than I'd like to but not going insane
-

I sweat just as much holding pads as hitting them, I've been doing martial arts for 25 years and we hit very hard!

I've had mfp set up like this since January and in March I stopped losing, I'm really strict and get loads of exercise, so it's not that easy for us all! I'm waiting for help from a dietician!

I'm 170.5 cm and 94 Kg (207lbs) Ignoring BMI because it says i'm obese (i'm a size 16) i'd like to be 80 Kg (176). I do a lot of karate and kickboxing, my lightest ever as an adult is 75 Kg and I was a size 10 then (BMI still had me at 'overweight').

I love my fitbit! Couldn't imagine not having one now!

I read the long article above, it all makes sense. What I don't get is, with my weight loss, things were going nicely for the first 3 months and then bam, I haven't lost now for about 9 weeks! When I do lose it's a pound that I put back on... I'm working out hard and eating healthy (apart from this week because i've been…

Thank you... I feel anything but

I am still classed as obese although i'm consistently told I don't look obese because of all the karate I do. I have to lose another 16lbs to be 'overweight' I definitely have better definition with my muscles so surely they are getting bigger and it's not just fat loss?
-
Yeh, i'm a 4th Dan in Wado Ryu and a 2nd Dan in Freestyle karate...
-
I've been told this many times as the same volume of muscle compared to fat weighs heavier?
-
Hi I've done karate for 25 years, I have my own club and train 3-5 times a week! It's brilliant and very much a huge part of my life!
-
Thanks... I drink loads. It's nice to know people take the time to support me. I guess i'll keep going, giving up isn't really an option is it?
-
I did that over the weekend while I was away... Ate more but also did 4 hours karate a day, I was on a course. Every time I let things go a tiny bit, even if it's only for one day, I gain weight :(
-
Hey, thanks for the input... I don't drink a lot of my calories unless I've been out for a drink, which is once a week or every 2 weeks. The other calories I put in 'drinks' are protein powder, which I usually have with water, unless my intake is low that day, then I mix them with milk. I have a low metabolism and an…

This has been going on since March, now with the 3lb gain i'm back to where I was at the beginning of March :( I work so hard at my training and eating healthy. I've even cut out most of my carbs from pasta, bread, rice and pasta and if I do have bread, I have it at lunchtime. I know this is a lifelong thing but i'm so fed…

I do the same with diet coke too...

What do you mean by empty carbs? Thanks

These macros sound sensible!
