Hi All

I'm a martial arts nutter, I train 5-6 times a week. Three of these are pad-work sessions. I log my pad-work as 'boxing punch bag' but then I hold pads for 25 minutes for my mate too and she hits really hard!!

Should I log this too somehow? if so, under what?

Any suggestions welcome please!

If you have or could borrow a heart rate monitor for a session, check to see how many calories you burn, say for each 10 minutes. Then add your own activity for tracking.

I sweat just as much holding pads as hitting them, I've been doing martial arts for 25 years and we hit very hard!

Can't use a heart rate monitor sadly, I have a pacemaker but thanks!

like I said, it burns something but it cant be significant. sweating is not a true indication of calories being burned.
