GAH! Take those rest days. I know its really hard, because running feels so good, but you will regret not resting when you are injured and have to sit out a week. Slooowwwww down and run on alternate days until you finish C25K. Your speed will gradually increase and you will stay injury free. :)

It made me angry FOR you reading this. Thankfully you were strong and advocated for yourself but man, this should not have happened to you. Congrats on the loss!!!

Start. Just don't overthink it and get going......on ONE thing. Change ONE habit at a time....get used to how it feels to do whatever it is you want to change first. Maybe its walking a half hour every day, maybe its eliminating one take-away meal per week. Maybe its having one less chocolate or drink. Whatever it is, take…

You look amazing, and whomever said you look younger now is right. Wow!

Well done, what a great result! Keep it up!

This. About 4 weeks post partum my hair started to fall out...fast. I had a few very thin patches (my hair is usually very thick to I freaked out) and then the hair loss stopped and it grew back. Whole process took about 8 months...

Wow!!! Well done!!!

You look incredible, and what's more- you look HAPPY. Way to go! Thanks for the inspiration! (I'm slightly under your starting weight now, so this is nice to see)
-
You look amazing and congratulations on the maintenance....I find that is just as hard if not harder than losing!
-
I've been flirting with the idea of riding to work in the spring too, and the sweaty factor had me wondering too. And helmet hair.....but also rush hour *kitten* hole drivers.

I love shoveling. Its practically a winter sport where I live LOL
-
WOW! Congrats, that must have been incredibly hard work with an infant. I considered myself a success if I put pants on by noon when I was 10 weeks post-partum!
-
I run first thing in the AM and only have a half glass of water. If I eat first I feel like I'm going to puke. I also swear I run harder (likely because I don't feel like I'm going to puke lol)

SO incredibly well said!

I weigh myself every day. Sometimes I feel that is the right thing for me and sometimes I don't. Weighing every day really drives home the fact that the fluctuations ARE normal but sometimes when I step on the scale and I'm a lb or two heavier it is really hard to not let it get me down.
-
Well done you!!! You look incredible and should be so proud!

I always tell people when they have stuff in their teeth or TP on their shoe or flying low etc. I would 100% want to know if it were me, so I figure you've gotta pay it forward. See-through leggings is a dangerous one though, cause some are so egregious that you've got to assume its on purpose lol

TBH, it is people like the OP that give me anxiety at the gym. I look at people in a class all the time for help. The instructor is generally an expert and makes a lot of moves look easy. I look around for someone who more closely matches my body type (fat) so I can see how they are doing it because it will look more like…

Do note that it isn't only at the beginning of a programme that you may see weight fluctuations. My scale showed an increase in 3 lbs this morning for absolutely no reason, and I am about 6 weeks in. I had a hard run last night and bang. It is really hard to not get discouraged, but this does seem to happen to everyone.

Great job!!!!! I think it is cool that you wore the same outfit in the pics. Really drives home the transformation.
-
Great info thanks!!! Depending on my work schedule I'll be running around 7:30 AM and/or at lunch. Hoping to see some cool stuff. :)

I live in Toronto so the climate part of it is fine. I love winter running! :)
-
Not trying to sound like a crazy person, but I've been running outside for the last 4 weeks up here in Toronto where the non wind chill temps are around minus 14 and often lower. Give it a try and you may just surprise yourself. If you cover your ears and neck and layer up winter running is surprisingly invigorating,…

That is super frustrating when you are on a roll and you have this great momentum and then BAM. I TOTALLY get you. I am four weeks into training for a race and every time someone sneezes near me I want to sock them in the face. DO NOT get me sick and de-rail this awesomeness! Get well soon!

I am in week 4 of C210K and I do understand what a few people have said about the walking rests and feeling like you are going to die. There have been several times that I have struggled with the first couple minutes, and then found my stride and then bang, have to walk again and do it all over. I don't think this program…
-
Holy crap! That is incredible, good on you for taking pics, otherwise you would have let that damn scale tell you you hadn't progressed!
-
I am in week 2 of C210K, so a very new runner, and I posted on here asking for advice and some people told me to walk until I could for an hour because of my weight (270 lbs). Well, I have small children, so walking for an hour is no problem for me, so I started to run. It feels amazing! Don't wait until you lose…
-
Well done you!!! You have a lot to be proud of and I bet your son is so happy to see you happier and healthier!!
-
holy cow! You look amazing, congrats!
-
Pardon me lady....NOT exactly a success story??? You've lost 100 lbs in a year....explain to me how that isn't absolutely killing it?!?! You should be proud, and you look fantastic. Live that success!!
