  • Just cut out bread, potatoes, pasta and anything made with flour such as cakes, pastry etc. That's all you need to do to lower blood sugar levels. I've done it and amazed my doctor with the results. Absolutely no need to cut calories to such a low level.

  • Hi there, lucky you, there's nothing like fresh caught mackerel. I have a book that says 62 calories per ounce raw, 78 cals per oz fried, so if you grill it I suppose it would be somewhere in between. Either way 4 oz would be fine I'm sure. Hope that helps you Sylvia
