Yes! There are lots of training programs for between 8 and 16 weeks ... so I'm sure you can find a 12 week program. Good luck! I'm training to run my first half in May. :)

I might. I was going to register for the Frederick Half which is May 4th ... but I could do St Michael's instead. Flatter would be great especially since I'm stuck to training on the treadmill for the time being. This will be my first half as well :)

I have a Fitbit One and LOVE IT! Its so little and lightweight I forget that I have it on.

I have a Gold's Gym membership and also attend regular classes at a yoga studio (even though Gold's offers yoga and Body Flow) and I don't consider it to be a waste of money since I feel like I get different benefits out of each. Do what makes you happy!!
