Take your measurements every couple of weeks and see if you might be losing inches even if you're not losing weight. If you're building muscle as you're working out, muscle weighs more than fat so you won't see much difference when you weigh yourself just yet. Don't give up!

That's great! Exercising will definitely help with quitting smoking!! The first few days are the hardest... just remember that it will get better and you CAN do it!

Thanks for the ideas!! I'll try those. :)

I crave and snack on white cheddar popcorn. It's all natural and not that bad, but the sodium content is ridiculous!

Me! In addition to the diet and exercise, I've cut out eating processed foods and will only buy groceries that are all natural. Is that the nesting instinct kicking in??

I ditched flavored creamers entirely and now I drink flavored coffee instead. Most have the same calories as regular coffee. I have a Keurig so I can have a variety of flavored coffees. Delicious!

I'm 35 yrs old - 5'4" and my goal is 130. I thought about setting a lower goal, but I really want to have lean muscle rather than just be skinny and a smaller size.

The nice thing about month two is that it (finally) includes 3 days of strength training in the Tone, Sculpt, and Core workouts and you'll still burn a ton of calories!

Try adding a protein bar as a mid-day snack or a protein shake in the morning. They're packed with extra protein that should help you keep your energy up. Increase your lean meat protein by an extra .25 or .50 portion each time you have a meal. The little bits extra will add up and won't add carbs. Look for whole grain or…

Instead of sandwiches, I usually take a wraps. Tortillas come in all kinds of flavors and they have the same calories as bread, so it's easy to add variety to lunches. I also alternate between lettuce and spinach salads. Quaker makes 100 calorie mini rice cake snack packs in lots of flavors for healthy snacks.

I'm at the end of week 1 of the P90X / Turbo Fire Hybrid schedule. I completed P90X Lean last Spring (woo hoo!) I got 6 weeks into Turbo Fire this summer before I was sidelined for about 6 weeks with an injury. I'm looking forward to completing the P90X/TF hybrid schedule! I took out the Yoga sessions and subbed Turbo Fire…

I agree! Invest in a Heart Rate Monitor and you'll know exactly how many calories you burn. I have one by New Balance that tracks workout time, time "in the zone", calories burned, average heart rate and high heart rate. I use it for every workout. Seeing the actual # of calories you burn will help you to work harder too!

Make sure you're eating enough protein in your diet - it will help with energy! Always go over MFP tells you is your daily protein goal. I've been combining the P90X nutrition guide with the calorie counter. Lots of protein and veggies!

Fire55 EZ is my favorite - burns a TON of calories and is super fun!
