I'm pretty sure you need to weigh meat with a scale to be accurate. I forgot to mention the part of it taking a while. It took about a year to seem my ab muscles again. My skin isn't as taut, but I guess I can't expect a perfect abdomen after having 2 kids in 3 yrs. You'll get there... workout hard and you'll see results.

Keep track of those calories and workout hard 4-5 times a week. I have had 2 kids and my belly flab is gone. It is possible.

Drink a protein shake afterward. It will replenish the nutrients that were lost and your muscles need the extra protein after a workout. I'm starving after a workout.... Are you sure the machine is correct? I burn about 300 in 20-25 min on the elliptical. Your burn should be higher. Not that Heart Rate monitors are precise, but they should give you a more accurate guesstimate. Do you have one?
