Currently at 427, but I lost a high count and didn't realize I could get it back. Been a member since 2011.

If my p-doc would have acknowledged part of my problem was my weight I would have felt better a whole lot faster, but I found that out on my own. No one wants to exercise when they are crying and don't even want to get out of bed. Mine didn't help me much either, I'm seeing a new one now that understand my concerns. I hope…

SORRY, AT WHAT POINT DID I SAY I SET THE RULES??? If I set the rules there would be no need for any of the meds to begin with to cause or not cause the side effects that cause the need for more meds. Or weight gain or loss (there are plenty that cause loss as well) I've done my research and I've been going thru it for 25…

Exactly, and I'm still unsure where you got the medical degree??? The brochures list weight gain as a side effect, it's common knowledge, more know than 10 years ago. The doctors even discuss it with patients now. And you are right, I'm a bucket of sunshine when someone is telling a flat out lie!

And I guess that makes you the 'odd one' not the norm. AND You need to do a little more research!!! I'm not talking birth control, I'm talking mood altering meds, anti-psychotics, please research bf you open your mouth and more BS falls out. I don't know anyone in my 42 yrs that has put on more than 10-15 # from BC. DUH…

YES! Most anti-psychotic and anti-depressant will and can cause weight gain. I shot up 60# with Seroquel. Abilfy is another one known for weight gain. I've even had a petite little doctor tell me that in no way shape or form did a drug cause me to put on weight. To be honest, she's lucky I didn't sit on her or break her in…

I've been on various dosage since 2005, I actually just came off of it. I took as high as 6 mgs 3 times daily and I never associated wanting to eat more with that pill. I blamed Abilify for that. Is that the only RX you take? So many affect appetite. I've been on Topamax (for migraines) and have lost 15 lbs they just added…

Hi beautiful! Please add me as a friend, I will be more than happy to be your a member of your cheer tem. Let me explain a few things (I don't normally talk about on here, but I feel it's needed). I have been treated for depression most of my adult life. The diagnosis has ranged from mild depression to bi-polar to the…

I also had wicked side effects...trailing lights when I drove after dark, the door frame would appear to be moving from side to side when I would first wake. As far as the memory loss, yeah I had that too, along with the increased difficulty concentrating. They said it would get better after I stopped but I can't really…

I took this at a high dose for over 5 years as a bipolar treatment. It is often used as an antipsychotic at high doses (hence the nick name dopamax) I have been off of it since 2012 and the migraines have returned. Did you know they also use it to treat migraines? I'm starting back now going up to 100 mg daily. I took…

Current weight: 214.8 Hello, I didn't see the message until today so I'm not in 'go' mode :) I'm not eating very well today, that's for sure, but it's my weekend off and I don't want to count calories today :) So we'll just skip that part. I am going to go outside and start tilling my garden today. Vitamin D and exercise!…

My resting heart rate has always ran on the fast side, 90 - 100 BPM. Now it's 55 - 60. I'm very pleased with that and it is a major pay off in my book (not to mention your cholesterol will be better, reduce the risk of heart disease & diabetes too...all major NSV) My BP on the last two doctor visits was 100/60. I still…
