When I started, I couldn't just eat 1200 cals, so I bumped it up to 1400 and then after I got used to that, went down to 1200 and it wasn't as hard. After I plateaued, I went back up to 1400 and eat back most exercise cals, and broke my plateau. Yay!

I prefer to work out alone, I won't even work out when my husband is home- I don't want him watching me! Classes are ok, but I rarely take them since I don't belong to a gym anymore. And walking is good with a friend. :smile:

that is what i do, too! although i do tend to ask a lot of questions, due to food allergies. so i have a pretty good idea.

We were going out to dinner with some friends and I went shopping. nothing fit well, it all looked terrible until I accidentally tried on something from the plus size dept. it fit, looked great, and I cried. I bought it, but I told myself it would be the ONLY plus size item I ever buy.

I don't think I have ever laughed as hard as I did when I read this! love it! Also, I used to love to shop, until I gained my weight and nothing looked good. So once I am down to my goal weight, I look forward to some shopping!

check the percentage of active ingredient., ie aluminum sesquichlorohydrate 25%. whatever the active ingredient is, the higher the percentage the better! i have found that (for me) anything less than 19% doesn't work. This example is taken from my Mitchum PowerGel for women. It is the highest % I have seen not prescription…

it could also be that you are gluten intolerant. you should discuss this with your doctor!

it's not chocolate... but when i really want something sweet/tart, i have grapefruit tic tacs! less than 2 cals per piece. if i want chocolate, i just have a little bit and give the rest to my hubby :wink:

whenever i post something, that is when the thread tends to fizzle out and die... so i never get the opportunity to flirt/be flirted with lol

one of our favorites is 2 cups cooked rice, 1 jar salsa and 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained. heat it all up together. we serve it on tortillas, my hubby likes it with shredded cheese and sour cream. it is also good with corn added in.
