  • I've had the Jawbone Up (first generation) and it worked well. Very unobtrusive, stayed put, loved the vibrating alarms... and then it stopped charging after 6 months. Right now I'm wearing a Polar Loop and I like it. It seems a bit more accurate and I like that I can use it as a watch. Fitting the Loop was a little…
  • Usually cheese (seriously sharp Cabot) & Frank's hot sauce. But, I've also been known to put broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach in the mix. Oh! And, bacon. (of course :P )

  • Chicken breast w/ skin with Brussels Sprouts On a baking pan, drizzle EVOO & add salt, pepper, and garlic to the chicken. Bake at 400 for 30-45 minutes. With 20 minutes left on the chicken, add prepped sprouts (outer leaves peeled & cut in half) to the pan, more EVOO/salt/pepper/garlic. Bake and consume!

So, you aren't "dieting," you're making a life change. After looking at your food diary, try shifting more of your calories to fat & protein…
  • This is all coming from my experience since there's next to nothing online about it. I'm three years into HRT. AAs really didn't start affecting my body shape until maybe 18 months. That was when losing weight starting getting a bit more difficult, but it's really not that much worse... more of a discipline/cheating thing.…
  • Weigh it before. It's easier and that's how foods are measured for their nutritional data.
  • Yup yup, I read it. It's a mix of how the American Standard Diet has changed and what about wheat/grain is bad. Really though... All it'll do is push you to eat less food containing gluten.
  • Pizza & mac'n'cheese. om nom nom nom...
  • Life. Anyway... Corn is "bad" because it's mostly carbs with little dietary fiber. So, for those following Keto or Paleo or whatever other low carb diet, corn isn't going to help you with your daily intake goals. As far as glycemic load, yes, fresh corn (or rather, unprocessed corn) is relatively low as is its fat content.…
