Coffee or tea sweetened with stevia, (my addiction) Arizona Green tea with ginger, I also give some flavor to my water by putting a little cranberry juice in it.

I'm more worried about the fat, carb, and sodium content.

I've used a few different apps, I found Mapmywalk to be the least accurate in terms of calories and miles. I use Endomondo and I have used RunKeeper, which I really like also.

What is your cholesterol level? I'm really torn because my cholesterol is a little high and my doctor told me to stick to low fat, low carb, but I've read many posts that say people have lowered their cholesterol level by just reducing carbs.
-
My cholesterol is a little high and considering my family history my doctor advised me to do something NOW. He advised me to do low carb, low fat diet and make sure I have exercise daily.

I'm not sure how the IPhone works, but with Fitbit it adjusts itself. However, I usually don't log additional exercise, I just go by my step count.

You really need to let them heal. I tried running through mine and got to the point that I could barely walk. Look up exercises for shin splints, pointing your toe and writing the alphabet in the air and lowering yourself up and down with your heals hanging over the edge of a step are the two I do. Make sure you really…

I use my fitbit and Endomondo. I use Endomondo to track my milage and time. I go with fitbit for calories, Endomondo estimates calorie burn really high.

I would say definitely counseling. But if he thinks you should just do what he tells you, then that may be something that will never change. Keep in mind your daughter is learning how how a man should treat a woman by watching you and your fiance together. Do you want her to think it is okay for a man to treat a woman that…

Have you had medical tests run? Maybe there is a medical reason for your constant hunger.

The way it looks at your elbows from the back view, I think it is skin. But, I think you look great, you don't have anything to be embarrassed about. Good job!

I'm 5'5", 207 right now and I wear a size 14-16. The smallest I have ever been was 128 and I wore an 8 then, but I didn't have much muscle and I did look sick.

Shop at Aldis. Their produce is sometimes half the price of Krogers.

I got tired of it and I gained about 25 lbs back. I will never not count calories again. Yes, it is a pain in the rear, but the disappointment of gaining all that back and the crappy way you feel when you do is not worth giving up.
-
Great job! You are gorgeous (then and now)!

My husband could care less what size I am. I did it for me, because I felt like crap. And for my kids, because I don't want them to grow up without me and I want to live long enough to see my grandchildren.

Weight loss is about diet, exercise keeps you healthy and benefits your heart and lungs. You will still be able to loose weight without exercise. Calculate your calories using sedentary as your activity level, then stick to those calories. You are about the same size as me right now and the days I don't exercise I stick to…

Unless you are sitting all day and not hardly moving around I would say 1400 is too low. I think 1600 would be more accurate for you. You are underweight for your height, I don't blame your nutritionist for not wanting you to loose any weight. The low end of healthy weight for your size is 101 lbs.

What is your calorie intake? You may not be eating enough. I started this summer running 2-3 miles three times a week. I lost pretty fast at first, but them stopped loosing. It wasn't until I increased my calories that I started loosing again. We are about the same size, I'm 5ft 5in, 178. I was running about 10 miles a…

I am a kindergarten intervention specialist and I say that is too much. The most they should have is a very short reading assignment and/or maybe a worksheet every once in a while. It should never take more than 20 minutes. All that work at home is not doing anything but causing the students to be frustrated and…

I am 5'5", started at 227, currently 181, it was just recently at -45lbs that a lot of people have commented. But its taken me two years and I put back on 15 lbs during that time. I think people are afraid to say something sometimes.
-
I buttoned the size 12 dress that has hung in my closet for 2 years waiting on me to get thinner! Its still too tight to wear, but it won't be long now!
-
I have lost 45 lbs, at 227 I was a 40D, now I am a 36C. I have lost 6 inches around my bust. But, I was little before I got fat, had babies and breastfed, I was only a 34B before, so I guess I'm just headed back to where I was before.

When I was walking into work today I couldn't believe my reflection in the door! I looked so thin, I thought "this has to be an optical illusion". So I turned this way and that and stepped side to side, no that is really me! Then I had three different people tell me I looked great and ask me how much weight I have lost.

The tingling in your fingers is what really concerns me. You defiantly should contact your doctor. If the days you have recorded in your diary is what you normally eat like on a daily bases you also need to eat more. As much as you are exercising 1000 and 1200 calories is just not enough to fuel your body. Your BMR is…

I had 4 slices the other day, mine was thin crust with pepperoni and cheese and it was 1100. I had saved calories for mine, but I won't do that again, I was so sick on my stomach the next morning!

No, because I've went that route before and it doesn't work. I gave up last fall and gained 15 lbs and felt like crap again. I've been consistent now since about March and I'm in a groove. It starts to get easier and become pretty natural after a while. Don't give up because it does get easier.
