  • You are awesome! Great job!
  • I am lucky, a lot of times I'm the only one at my track. There are never more than two or three other people. But sometimes the grounds keeper stares at me and it really creeps me out!
  • I eat something chocolate almost every day, usually ice cream, its fine as long as its in your calorie goal. Don't think you have to be miserable and starving to loose weight. Follow the suggestions you have gotten on here and don't starve yourself.

  • Wonderful!! Keep up the good work!
  • I will be 43 at the end of this month, I've lost 38 lbs. Last month I was at a party with my husband (who is a year younger than me) and some people thought I was his daughter. So, I don't think it is an issue for everyone.
  • I have a Fitbit One and I love it. I've had it since Christmas. As others said the charge lasts about 2 weeks, the fitbit warns you via email and on the dashboard that it is getting low. It only takes a couple hours to fully recharge.

  • When you are first starting you might actually find yourself running even slower than you walk. Do not worry about speed at all at first. I felt like I was almost running in place when I started out. Once you are able to run 2 to 3 miles then you can start worrying about speed. I started out with a 18 minutes per mile pace…
  • I am 5'5" and my goal is around 145 - 150. I started at a miserable 227 and my current weight is 187lbs. I was 128 when I was in my early 20s and I looked sick. I starved myself to get there, had no muscle, so I'm thinking 145 my look pretty good with muscle. I will see when I get there. I would like to wear a size 6 or 8.
  • I have always liked Adam. It was uncalled for that these women attacked him over something that most people don't even know about (I didn't). But, people do say things they don't mean when angry, but when it someone tells another person to kill themselves it says volumes about their true selves. I would never even think to…
  • Goodness, yes! Look at your back and hips. Good job, keep it up!
  • Oh, yes, I know exactly what you are talking about! I check that part of my body out often , waiting for that little roll to go away!
  • I sit down on my husband's lap and he said "Ouch, you have a boney butt!". A lot less fat there cushioning things! I also added another quarter mile to my run this week and am steadily getting faster.
  • I think you are beautiful! You remind me a lot of myself when I was your age (I'm an old woman now - 42). I was 5 ft 5in and 140 and I thought I was huge. I wish now I had realized how skinny I was back then! I would suggest just focusing on toning exercises, it will help you feel good about yourself. 30DS is a great…
  • ^^ This, totally. I have had 4 pregnancies, I started out at 138 lbs when i met my husband, by the time it was all said and done I weighed 227 lbs. My husband never once said I was unattractive to him. He has always been attracted to me because what we have is real and true. As others have said counseling is in order NOW.…
  • I started at 227 also. My two year anniversary was this past April. I was doing well, had lost 37 lbs as of last summer, then my husband almost died in August. The stress of it all got to me and I gained back 15 lbs. I am now back on track and doing really well now. I have a total of about 80 lbs to loose as well. I will…
  • Sent you a friend request!
  • An obese child is not always the result of a negligent parent. My son is obese because he is on a medication that makes him gain weight. I make sure he eats healthy, I try to control his portions (but he is almost 11 and sometimes helps himself to seconds when I am not looking), and he plays sports (and on days that he…
  • I think you are trying to do too much too fast. You should only run every other day during the 5K program. I usually just walk a couple miles and do core strengthening on my off days.
  • I eat back about 100 of my exercise calories. If I go over that I don't loose. You may be different, you might be able to eat back half or all of them, just test it out and see what works for you.
  • You do not need to loose any more weight.
  • Don't feel like you aren't loosing as fast because you can't exercise, your diet is the most important part of loosing weight. I actually feel like I lose slower when I exercise more. I don't know if it's due to building muscle or what, but the weeks that I get 2 or 3 days of running in always results in about a half of a…
  • I have done IF for two weeks now. I eat from 11:30 to 7:30, which is a 16 hour fast. It has really helped me stay within my calorie goal. Yes, you have to have a calorie deficit, but meal timing is not irrelevant. There are scientific studies that show fasting changes our metabolism. During fasting your glucose level is…
  • Considering your history you should realize that starving yourself and loosing the weight fast does not lead to you keeping it off. Look up scientific studies, the slower you loose weight the more likely you are to keep it off. You really need to consult a doctor. If you continue to eat so few calories you are going to…
  • You are not even reaching 1000 calories on most days and you are exercising, I'm sure your net is in the negative. Do you realize that what you are doing is damaging your health? Starving yourself can result in anemia, lowered immunity, and it can even cause your thyroid to get screwed up.
  • I try to avoid white carbs just because I can't stop once I get started. If I eat one roll I want more.
  • I am 5'5" and my goal is 145. I weighed 128 right after college and I looked sickly.
  • You can be a vegetarian and still not starve yourself. If you are eating only 500 calories a day and exercising no wonder you aren't loosing weight, your body thinks it is in the middle of a famine.
  • That stinks! I wear mine on my bra too without any problems. Try adjusting the stride like someone else said. I hope you get it figured out, I would be lost without mine.
  • If you are loosing inches then your clothing size will go down. You are probably building muscle, so the scale isn't moving right now. Throw your scales away and stick to measuring.
  • You remind me so much of myself when I started this journey! My husband is like yours, it took a health scare (he almost died) before he would even consider changing some of his diet. I fix healthy food now and if he doesn't want to eat it then he fixes himself something and me and the kids eat healthy. You don't need to…
