  • Finished Week3 Day2 with a 12.44 min. /mile pace, my best yet and I was even trying to run slow as I could! Just so thrilled that I am running 3 minutes at a time now. My left shin is really hurting me, so I may have to take two days off before tackling day 3.
  • I get shin splints too. As everyone has said, the thing that helped me the most was good shoes, I wear New Balance. Make sure you are doing plenty of stretching before and after. Ice down your shins after you run. Search the internet for exercises that strengthen your calf muscles and shin area, there are a couple I do…
  • You can do it Chantel, I am 40 and have never ran in my life. I have been walking 2 to 3 miles a few times a week for the last year. I used to only be able to jog for 30 seconds at a time. I just finished week 2 day 3 and I am running for 90 seconds at a time. Just take it slow, jog as slowly as possible at first, speed…
  • Just finished W2D3, I was a little slower today because my left shin is hurting.
  • Everyone needs to stop whining, increase your water intake, get back on track and you will be back to normal in a couple days. Sheeze! I went on vacation a couple weeks ago, was up 7 lbs, but once I got back on track was back to normal in two days.
  • Honestly, you don't need to loose any more weight. I could tell that by your pic and then I saw you are 5 ft 4 and 122. You are within healthy range, your BMI is 20.9, healthy range for your height is 18.5–24.9 . If you don't think you look fit you need to focus on toning up with strength training. And if you are…
  • If you doctor is not concerned that you are throwing up after you eat, daily for up to 6 weeks you need a new doctor. Even if they can't find a cause there are things they can do to help such as anti-nausea pills. If you are suffering from that much anxiety you need to see a counselor or psychologist. I think the least of…
  • No, you don't have to give it up as long as you count the calories in. But you do have to eat more than 500 calories a day.
  • We probably come in a close second. Ours aren't nearly as well organized as yours!
  • Do you need new shoes? If your shoes are worn out and not supporting you well enough it can cause shin splints. Also spelling out the abcs with your big toe in the air is a good way of strengthening the right muscles. I dealt with shin splints for a long time. I rode my stationary bike while I was healing.
  • How many calories a day are you averaging? It sounds like you are eating too little, if you are active and exercising 5 times a week you are going to actually need more calories.
  • Fibromyalgia is in more than one spot on your body. To have fibro you have to have soreness in at least 11 of the 18 "tenderspots". You also usually have other symptoms such as fatigue, trouble sleeping.
  • It isn't you! Its Kohls! Their sizes are off. I have lost 32 lbs, started at a tight 18, now wearing a comfortable 14. I tried some stuff on at Kohls last month and had to put on 16s and even some 18s. I like Fashion Bug, their clothes are made to fit real woman, not mannequins. Like someone else said, Levis seem to fit me…
  • If you are only eating 900 calories or less every day they are telling you that out of concern.
  • Honestly, I'm tired of hearing people say this. I'm sorry if I sound mean. You need at least 1200 calories to fuel your body, actually more if you are up moving around. Eat. There is plenty of healthy foods to choose from, keep trying them until you find them.
  • If you don't get it looked at and it is broken it may be harder to fix down the road when it starts giving you problems. See a doctor.
  • I had yeast infection under my arms once. I used the prescription my dr gave me, but it kept coming back. Tea tree oil finally cleared it up. I used hydrocordizone cream also to stop the itch.
  • I would love 4lbs a month. I've been doing this since April and I've slowed to 1 or 2 lb loss a month. Just glad it is still going down.
  • A small DQ vanilla cone. I can't remember what the calories are, but its really high. I can have a 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream at home for 120, what makes soft serve so dang high in calories?
  • I think you need a new doctor. At your age a 10 lb gain is nothing. I gained 15 lbs in a year when I started graduate school and my doctor didn't say a word. You are sick all the time because you are not eating enough calories to fuel your body. I have said this to many people, my mil ate under 1000 calories a day for over…
  • I have never worried about having to go to the bathroom because 5K is about as far as I can get right now. But I do worry about wild animals because the trail is pretty wooded. I have seen a deer twice. I was also followed by a beautiful hawk once. I will never wear a spaghetti strap shirt again. I was wearing one once and…
  • I tried the spaghetti squash too, it does not compare to spaghetti at all! Try chunky soup chicken fajita soup, Special K chips, and chocolate mini-rice cakes.
  • You look awesome! I understand how hard it is to imagine yourself smaller. I have lost 30 lbs and recently went shopping, I kept grabbing size 18s and looking at 14s and thinking, wow that is small. Then feeling shocked that the 14 fits!
  • From what I can see from a quick search you should start here : Pioneer Human Services 9707 Turk Dr Tulalip, WA 360) 651-8287 It looks like your closest Human Services organization. If not, find your closest one. They can help you with your job search, counseling, and if it comes down to it assistance for shelter and food.…
  • It sounds like he is living in your home? If so, you need to ask him to leave now. Once you found out he is a thief why would you even need more information? This doesn't sound like a situation to mess around with.
  • I was going to guess 30, then I looked at your profile. I think your dark glasses make you look older. But I wouldn't let it bother you. You look beautiful!
  • I'm going to be really honest and I hope I don't sound rude. If your calves were smaller you would look ridiculous! Your legs are perfect! You don't want little toothpick legs.
  • I think 1250 is too low for that much walking. That is a lot of steps! If you are having trouble with that amount, definitely up it a little. I started out at 1200, but I was always hungry, so I increased it to 1370. Now I eat 1370 on days I don't exercise plus some of my exercise calories on the days I do exercise.
  • Our bodies are similar I'm: age 42 weight 198, goal 145 waist 43 (a lot better than 47, where I started!) Hips 44 chest 42
