  • I also use the mini tart shells fill with fruit and low fat cool whip, or the mini sponge cakes and fill with strawberries or pineapple and top with lf cool whip. We also have a yonanas dessert maker but a friend of mine blends bananas, yogurt and frozen fruit and gets the same results for a low cal ice cream
  • How about cutting up some diff fruit and making a fruit cup..then to add some indulgence take a small piece of dark choc or a tbs choc chips and melt them, drizzle over it and top with low fat cool whip

  • I put mine inside my wrist too and whenever someone checks ur pulse they use that so I figured it would be the best place for the sensor...I keep it there pretty much all the time unless I'm going out and don't want the strap facing out but as stated above it's prob a little diff for each person...trial and error til u…

  • The total calories burned is almost spot on to what Runtastic estimated....and I know nothing like that is exact but something at least close would be nice. I have the app on my phone that uses the gps and tracks my walks....seems to be alot more accurate than the MFP with just entering manually....I do have a heart rate…
  • Thanks for that link...Some good points there...I have did a couple...but I like the one about cuttin it out for 3 full days to let my levels drop and then u will feel satisfied with the little things u have...I will try these for sure..Thanks so much for ur info and advice...Every little bit helps in some way!
  • What kind of cleanse are u talking about....I hear ya on the sweetners and I do know that its just real hard...BUT I started off with 2 sweetners and now down to half a one now in a reg cup so I'm tryin to slowly ween myself and that part is working...I did try stevia but uggh just cant adapt to the taste of that at all!!
  • I do drink alot of diff teas that I do like too and they help..And I do incoperate sugar in my days but what I meant was I used to be a junkie....Like literally ate 2-3 vachons a day, 2 bars a day, bag candy, whatever i could eat...I was a food addict and I guess I'm tryin to overcome that still some but right now my main…
  • First of I'd like to say I don't like to call it a "cheat day" , I used to call it a "Treat Day". This was generally my weigh in day or the day after. And I did this mainly becuz I was such a junk food addict....So I went from eating it every day to just treating myself once a week. And I lost 30 lbs doing that. I used to…
  • Thanks guys..I appreciate all your info and input...Its what I use this forum for. I will continue to use my Mio when working out and compare its numbers to what I punch in on here...Even if not exactly accurate its a little motivating to see the numbers. I dont eat back my exercise calories anyway usually so thats not a…
  • You have all raised some good points and info. I assume it measures my heart rate through my pulse since it has a sensor on the back of the watch ...I Assumd thats how it worked anyway. I understand what you mean now by allowed exercise based on settings and tracking all day. Totally makes sense!! I will just use it now…
  • I'm not quite sure I follow you there greg....I'm a bit new to this site so can u elborate!! I do not have a chest strap just the watch...when I exercised it showed my heart rate at 82%. You have me wondering now how accurate it really is..any kinda test i can try to see how accurate it is....thanks for all your info!!
  • Actually if you read my post it wasn't just for walking..I went for a walk which only took about 45 mins but I was runnin errands and doing some cleaning...My heart rate watch was just on timer for 2 and half hours and thats what it showed altogether....I usually put that on the whole day and leave it and check my calories…
  • Good for you for posting here and asking for advice..def a step in the right direction. I'm sure you feel its a difficult task to fit in another 700 calories when you don't feel hungry. Since you are recovering you prob aren't looking to eat big meals just yet and that one meal is prob all u feel u can eat right now. You…
  • I agree with everyone here..some great suggestions for you. Also since you are in college....you probably don't realize it but alot of ladies your age are health conscious and try to watch their figure or work out , you probably just don't know they do. So in time you may get to know a couple people from college that share…
  • This is a touchy subject for me becuz I too am a HUGE stress eater. And I always knew I was kind of but it really hit home for me when my dad passed away unexpectedly this past year. I watched my mom not eat for days and tried to make her eat while all I did was stuff my face. And it felt like people must be thinking what…
  • I would like to lose about 20 lbs and just feel good about myself during the holidays. I have a wedding in March (mine) :)) so I would like to be the kickstart to my self confidence!!
  • Thanks for the info..I'm thinkin too its something that will be tossed aside ..I am just gettin into the MFP and I do like it..like anything takes time..one thing I did just discover that I think will help me is the fact that you can save the recipes which makes it easier if 3 days down the road I make the same kinda wrap…
  • I know it can be a challenge to cook for just you but with some info and planning you can be on your way. I make batches of pasta sauce and freeze, I make batches or rice and meatballs and freeze in individual containers , etc...You need to get some single serviing freezer bags or containers and set aside a day and make a…
