I am in no means the fittest girl at my gym, but I do cross fit and lift heavy (for me). thanks for the replys-- Peleroja-- i ride my bike to work with is 20 miles there and 20 miles back. add in some crossfit and swim training sessions on my heavy training days and it's easy to hit 1000. Imagine how much we'd burn if we weighed more lol

you go girl- i wish i could stay consistent. I am always on point with my breakfasts. I do most of my longer workouts on the weekends-- 2 hours or so on the bike and also weight training each day...but that also allows me a TON more calories for the day...ahhh love weekends.

i suggest doing what you enjoy. I don't completely agree with ycortinas that the elliptical uses more muscles than the bike though. I race bicycles and sometimes train on spin bikes at the gym during the winter---I burn 500calories in 45 minutes on the spin bike...and i can't even get near that on an ellipitcal (i use HR…

my food/drink intake consists of: meats/plans/nuts/whiskey on the rocks bartenders always tilt their heads when they see a 5'3 girl order jack on the rocks like a boss. makes me laugh.
