At the moment I just add layers - its about 6 degrees Celsius when i run. I have gone into long running tights with a long sleeve top and light jacket. I have also got some clothes but find i get too warm.

I've been struggling for 15 months but have never given in. Last week I finally managed to break my 1.25m miles max and did over 2 miles. It just takes time and not giving up. As others have suggested try C25K and also make sure you get your running shoes fitted. P)s I also have quite bad asthma but make sure you take…

As someone who cant have wheat go out and enjoy it. Yes using wholemeal is better than using white but why deprive yourself of something you like.

I wanted to breastfeed - even ended up going back into hospital as my LO lost so much weight and after five days the docs had to sit me down and say that I'm not bale to produce any milk. I tried again with baby number 2 and ended up in so much pain that I had to stop plus no milk again. Feeling like a failure helped to…

Coeliac (which yes I know is not an allergy/intolerance) so no gluten but also cant have dairy, soya, eggs, mustard or sunflower products. The hospital also said I'm likely to be allergic to certain preservatives and flavourings but they cant test for them all. Have to go on a daily high dose of antihistamine even if…

I hope when you are eating all those apples you are not eating the pips. Apple pips contain cyanide and if you eat lots and lots you could get cyanide poisoning - well at least its one way to lose some weight.

I was going to add Coeliac disease but that's under auto immune. By the way the best thing I've found is something small and sweet to get rid of the worst while you bung a jacket potato in the microwave. My coeliac is mainly under control but hubby got a shock when i ask for a tea with about 4 sugars in.

I'm not diabetic but I do get hypoglycaemic and it IS dangerous. If I get to that point and dont eat I could slip into a coma - luckily I've not had that happen but have fainted once or twice.

I have the FT4 with the new style chest band - would that link in with the loop?

Hope you are doing ok and finally getting some results.

We are hoping to move to Tw*tt in the Orkney's in the next few years.

Love it. Had to stop for a few weeks but people started noticing after a couple of weeks that i was getting smaller. Back on it again and even hubby wants to start it next week.

I have 2 children on Soya milk because they cant have milk. Both were given it under the guidance of both a paediatrician and a dietician. My 3 year old has been on it since 18 months. On the giving children cows milk go for it. My eldest is a teenager and drinks it by the pint.

I would also suggest C25K. I've struggled with running for the last 18 months but never giving in. Finally yesterday I managed to hit the 2 miles mark and run for 27 minutes. My previous best was 15 mins maximum and the runners high was amazing and worth the effort. Keep going and you will finally get there.

Thank you everyone. I'm glad I've finally found the running bug as I like to do obstacle racing and not being able to run makes it much harder.

Back at uni so no time but saving the pennies for PS4 so I can play Witcher 3 and Dragon age inquisition.

don't worry i love like a right idiot doing it. My arms are totally out and my burpees - well half the time i cant get back up. The stretching is even worse as i have to lean on something.

I'm restarting again today. Had a few weeks off due to illness/ recovery from races. Going to go back to week 1.

If I'm really tired I know its a sign my iron is low but normally carry on as normal. Yesterday I was cramping ( I normally do just before I start) so decided to try a run to see if it helped and I did. I do sometimes find that I get tired slightly quicker when working out the first few days but it wont stop me.

Amazing loss. Well done on the all the hard work and it was a great gaol to set.

ditto to what everyone else thinks. I eat 3 meals a day plus snacks.

We all eat the same in our house and my youngest is 3. My 9 year old loves watching me cook and asks lots of questions about what I'm doing. If you make small changes over time they notice less. I now tend to use less meat and add more veggies or pulses.

Just look at your own ticker to see how well you are doing!! Sounds like this guy is trying to defend his lack of exercise (compared to yours)by putting yours down. As you say he is flabby and eats junk food all the time. Would you take his nutritional advice too? *Also just noticed you are female. Unfortunately some guys…

Unfortunately I'm in the UK but the range of gluten free diary free and soya free deserts are getting better. When I was in Scotland I found a coconut ice cream and our Tesco sometimes stock it. Trouble is I'm also allergic to sunflowers and if they dont use soya lecitn they tend to use sunflower lectin in stuff.

Ditto my daughter was treated for over a year for severe constipation and when she got novovirus at 18 months old we got to keep her dairy for 6 weeks and it cleared up. As soon as the doc said it was fine to go back on she started with the same problem and the docs said to keep her off it totally now ( and no issues since)

Only just found this thread and just want to wish you good luck and hope they sort you asap.

My goal is around 1600 without exercise. If I have done lots that day and have a surplus I tend to try and hit 1200 minimum as I know otherwise I'll have no energy the next day to do stuff. Being under by 100 to 200 everyday is not too bad especially if you are logging exercise and eating the calories back.

Hi I'm both a coeliac and dairy free among other things. Lots of the gluten free food is also lactose free. I know ibn the uk there are a great range of diary free yogurts and puddings now in the chiller section. I cant eat most of them because I also cant have soya but my son loves them.

i live slightly further south than you and its not winter yet. I notice that you say that this time of year can cause depression but the best thing is to get out and go for a walk. If your twins are walking take them to the park and kick leaves. If they are too small put them in the pushchair, wrap them up and take them…

I live in hiking boots come on the winter months as they are great when it gets icy and I walk mainly on the pavement - upto 5/6 miles miles a day.
