I appreciate all the feedback. I had never thought of HP as a fad diet.... and it sounds like some of you don't like Dr. Oz.... I thought he had good info. Thanks for the variety in perspectives.

What kinds of protein powder are people using in the oatmeal. This is new to me.

I eat oatmeal a couple of times per week. I use Whole Oats, either Quaker or Bulk from Health Food Store. 1/2 cup with 1 cup of water, and 1/2 cup of berries (fresh or frozen) and 15 grams of walnuts. Microwave about 2.5 to three minutes, depending on how soupy you want it. It is very good. I feel better when I eat it,…

I am excited to see this thread. I have 100+ to lose on the total journey. On a Check in Monday, I have my head on right for the morning. I have exercised and ate a portion controlled, healthy choice breakfast. :smile:

A few years back, I went on the SBD. I really liked it, but unfortunately fell back into old habits. I currently just use MFP and keep under my carb and calorie allotment. I still prepare some of the foods that SBD had in the book. It is a low glycemic diet.

I love the Suzy's Rosemary Kamut Flatbreads, I add a wedge of Laughing Cow to it for a filling snack. The Rosemary Kamut is only 70 calories for 3 and is under 20 carbs for the serving. Very Filling. My goal is to not eat them back, but my exercise burns from 200-400 calories. I don't usually eat them, since my goal is to lose weight, and I feel that weight loss is an equation of calories in/calories out. I also set my goal at 1600 calories per day. I tend to only eat my daily amount, and not eat the exercise burned calories.
