I have had PF for 5 years now. Got inserts for my shoes (not walmart kind, professionally fitted) and I don't have the pain when I wear them. If I go without them for more than a day, the pain comes back. The pain IS in the bottom of my feet...so maybe this is not what you have..

I just got a set of kettlebells and also Jillian Michaels' Kettlebell DVD. I like it so far. She explains that it's so great a workout, because it combines cardio and strength at the same time. I started with a 5lb then went to a 10lb bell. I find that I am not ready for anything higher than 10lbs yet. It gets heavy after…

I have PF and bone spurs in my heals. I got the shoe inserts 5 years ago and it's like I never had PF! I have to wear them almost every day, or the pain returns...but they are easy to wear and I'm able to do anything (including run) My Dr. wanted to sell me these for $300 but I went to a local shoe store (small mom and pop…

If you have never been a runner, then don't worry about speed right now...this program is meant to build your strength and endurance. I started it too, and two weeks into it I pulled something.....went the the Dr. and was put on muscle relaxers....haven't been able to run in two weeks :0( Make sure you stretch well before…

Yea, when you see that I have had a regular pop, that is when I have experienced low bloodsugar and needed something fast. I do know that an apple would do the trick but it doesn't work as fast and when I experience a low bloodsugar, I get a "panicky, gotta get it up NOW" feeling. As for the diet pop, I also know that is…

I tried black bear meat made like italian beef. It tasted pretty much like a regular roast.

You are under your calories alot, but you also have been eating icecream, cookies and corn on a daily basis. I don't know for sure, but those might be stalling you. They are all Carbs. Just a guess...

I am in the same boat. I don't really lose weight, though I'm eating healthy. I guess it's my age (metabolism slower) and the fact that I'm a diabetic. I understand insulin plays a part in weight loss or lack of weight loss.... Ugh...

I have read and been told by a lady who studies nutrition, that aspartame is extremely harmful. It has been linked to many health issues, such as migraines and eye problems. I even read that some diabetics who were diagnosed with retinopathy, were actually having side effects from aspartame instead.

I use the same video and count it as low impact aerobics because of the variety of arm and leg movements.

I agree that 7lbs in 6 weeks is good! I have only lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks, so you're doing better than someone! :0)

I hate eggs! LOL. I usually eat peanut butter on an english muffin....it's a little lower carb than bread.

I am no expert, but I think the simple answer is: If you burn more calories than you eat, you'll lose weight- so obviously don't eat them if you want to lose weight. I have read alot about your body going into starvation mode if you don't eat them.....but I'm beginning to believe that everyone's body is different and so…

...one piece of 12 grain bread with natural peanut butter is always my "rush out the door" breakfast :0) Just enough protein to hold me over.

I had the exact same thing happen a few weeks ago. Couldn't stay out of the bathroom all day, etc. I also lost 3pounds..but mine was OVERNIGHT! I was excited. I got curious the next day, though, and weighed again. I put those 3 lbs on again in one day :0( Water weight plays many tricks :0/ Hope your loss stays with you,…

I made a personal decision not to eat them partly because of the sodium and partly because I've read alot about staying away from processed foods...and sticking closer to "natural' foods. Nothing Boxed/packaged. It's not always easy, though...

That's right! People who are miserable try to make themselves feel better by bringing others down. You go girl! You get to feel good about your commitment and endurance on that run, while he goes home to his miserable self!

I'm crying with you! :0) That "you'd be ___ in 5 weeks" has NEVER worked for me. I have been eating healthy and exercising for 17 weeks now. I lost 10lbs in the first 7 weeks....and absolutely NOTHING since then. I have maintained the same weight for 10 weeks. I've even "upped" my exercise; like running instead of…
