I am 5'8 1/2" weigh 162, last year I weighed 151 and I ate over 2000 calories everyday. I wear the same clothes I wore last year and I had started strength training last May. When I eat carbs at night, I tend to have a better lifting session the next morning. I didn't read the story you read yet! Just my experience.
