22 pounds under pre pregnancy weight and still have that little pooch from the c-section. Always had a relatively flat stomach no matter how big I got, this pooch bothers me sooo much!

If you have no other time option, try melatonin

My reward is going to be a new me, but a great side effect will be having to purchase a new wardrobe, due to the fact that all of my "skinny" clothes were too big 20 lbs ago. Good thing I live in scrubs and my employer gives us a scrub budget every year or I would be swimming in my old scrubs.

I caught myself doing that the other day in Zumba, looking at the instructor to make sure I was doing the right steps and catching a glimpse of a chick in the mirror out of the corner of my eye, shaking it like she was a pro and looking awesome, then I realized it was me! I was elated to be able to have a vain moment for…

I do the same thing, but I am lucky enough to have coworkers who support my choices. If they have that much of a problem you should sit them all down individually if you have to a spell it out for them. They are only mad and think you are doing something horrible until it works and they see a difference and then they will…

Of all the things you could have as a "work stash" those are not bad! 90 calories a piece for a brownie, heck yeah!

My Zumba class goes hard core the whole hour, so I use Aerobics, high impact. It is all in how you push yourself, or you can make your own exercise and get an HRM. As long as you are honest with yourself on how hard you worked, you will be fine.

You can work out all day long, but if you are not putting the right foods in your mouth you are negating everything you are doing in the gym. It is a lifestyle change, and it is a marathon, not a sprint. What are you eating? How much are you eating? Are you burning calories doing cardio or lifting weights or both? There…

I promise you, you did not "blow" your diet. You would have had to eat 3,500 calories worth of cheezies to gain a pound. You fell of the wagon a bit and reverted back to old ways, but at least you recognize it and are aware that that ype of food will get you nowhere. Tomorrow is a new day, drink a lot of water the rest fo…

Been with my boyfriend almost 1 year. Have looked at rings, talked about marriage, and even started planning a honeymoon. I joke with him about all the stuff we are talking about being great and all but in ten years when he proposes it might be different, lol. We don't live together, we have both been married before,…

Could you be entering your TOM? Starting a new exercise program with that coming up isn't a good idea. Motivation is your biggest key right now. Buy a pair of jeans in the size you want to be and pin them on the wall next to the size you are in now to motivate you every time you look at where you are and where you want to…

Have you been tracking your measurements? We sometimes lose inches before the scale moves, try to see if you see a difference with weekly measuring. I plateau on my weight sometimes but still end up losing inces every week.

You are probably retaining water from a bad sodium day yesterday, Unless you ate 7,000 extra calories on top of your diet, there is no way you gained two pounds. Push the water and you will lose it

I remember being the fat kid in school and feeling like you were going to start a fire if you ran one more step. Not to mention the aformentioned chub rub stinging to the point you couldn't walk normally even if you put pants on. I am 174 and just now can see space between my legs when I stand straight. I am by no means…

The sad part about that is you can't. You can't force someone to want to change or coax them into changing their life. All you can do is keep up your diet and fitness plan and he will see how much better you feel and look and hopefully he will have the lightbulb switch on and join you in your endeavor. Until then, keep…

Sodium can be a horrible monster to deal with, I know I retain 3-4 pounds of water on a bad sodium day even if I drink a butt load of water to try and counteract I will still swell. Not to mention the processed "low calorie" foods are LOADED with sodium. That is how they sell you, low calorie but had to but something in…

I have found that now that I have surpassed all of my "skinny" clothes in the closet and they are all falling off that I have had no choice but to go buy a few things as to not embarass myself in public with a wardrobe malfunction, lol. The hardest part is seeing the brand new dress you bought just a few weeks ago in a…

I am ravenous just before and during TOM. I can eat a huge meal and even though I make sure it is healthy food and I can feel that my stomach is full, I will still want more and think I am hungry. I have no clue why our hormones do it to us considering TOM is the only time we can't get pregnant so swelling up is I guess…

Usually they recommend 8-12 weeks before exercising. Especially strenuous exercise having to do with your incision area. Be careful and take the advice of your doctor.

I weigh every morning after using the bathroom and naked and I also weigh at night before bed naked. It keeps me accountable and I can judge how I did for the day. I don't obsess over it, I am the kind of person who will gain weight if I don't keep watch on the numbers.

That sounds like an awesome idea, wide squats are better in my opinion for inner thighs. Narrow squats work the quad, wide squats work the inner thighs because they are working harder to push you back up without your majority of the leg underneath you. Have fun!

My advice is to keep yourself full of good for you things so you won't have room for bad stuff. Also if you are craving that salty kick I suggest getting some potassium chloride powder. It is a salt substitute and work wonders on water retention. Potassium is a great counteraction for any lbs you are carrying due to water…

It's boredom that is getting to you. I was the same way, you fall back on old habits and you, like me, were an eater out of boredom. Get yourself out of the house until bedtime. I go straight from work to get my daughter and then hit the gym. By the time I am done, get home, give her a bath, and put her to bed it is 9 or…
