I ran my first last year. Loved it so much that I did another! This year my family is joining me so we can run as a team. Here's an article that gives some really good, honest advice from mud/obstacle runners. My personal advice is to develop your upper body strength and flexibility. Being flexible will really be an asset…

Try Magnesium Citrate (the liquid, drinkable kind) which you can get over the counter. If you do, don't make plans for rest of the day. Try increasing your water intake also because even the best laxatives will not work if you are dehydrated. edited for typo

Mix 2 tbs of PB2 into a tub of Cool Whip Free. Stir it until it's thick and creamy, chill and enjoy! It makes a sinful-tasting peanut butter mousse without the guilt.

I had a Nike Fuel Band. I never had problems with its function but found it to be rather useless overall. It counted my steps and calories but was rather inaccurate (somehow I would rack up steps while driving or at my desk). It didn't link with MFP which made it frustrating to log. It also didn't register correctly if I…

BTW, I wanted it for a playlist I am putting together for my daughter-in-law and I...we are running together in a Zombie Race next month, and when I heard it, it fit perfectly. Otherwise, I would just say oh well and forget about it.

Ms Marla, we are thinking the same! I decided just to turn my slacker back on and let it play....they are bound to repeat it eventually! ha! I'll post it whenever I find it - it'll probably be a forehead smacker, like "Duh, I KNEW that"!!

right techno sound, mrsmcf...still too slow, I like it a lot, but not "the one". closest yet!

You guys rock for trying to help! you name 'em and I'll try em.

nope. pumped up kicks is way too slow...this had to be at least 160 bpm... I do love that song though. it's so happy sounding yet so dark all at the same time.

LOL! I know, right?!? The style is very dance/pop-ish kind of like Nicki Minaj's "Pound the Alarm" type of sound. Seeing that it was on Slacker, I may never find it again....dang that vast 38,000 song library! LOL

Offer to give her a break and do the cooking for a couple of nights. No one gets hurt feelings and you have a tad more control in the kitchen :)

Ok, this sounds strange, but I adore hot jello to cure a sweet craving! One mug full of boiling water mixed with a packet of sugar free jello powder plus a handful of ice cubes to cool it off a tad. Toldja it was strange, but it helps!

Blend in some PB2 or a packet of sugar free jello powder. You'll end up with Protein Fluff which is yumm-o!
-
Make some protein fluff! 1 c. ice cubes 1 c. skim milk 2 scoops protein powder 1 packet sugar free jello Blend the ice and milk to make your smoothie base add the protein powder and blend again -- it will start to get fluffy add the jello (ONLY THE POWDER PACKET, NOT PREPARED JELLO) blend again. yum!

Or maybe take an ice cold shower because anything ice cold burns more calories trying to heat your body back up. And add squats while you blow dry your hair... :noway:

Give plain greek yogurt a try. I adore Fage Total 0%. Top it with fresh fruit and you are set! 1 cup has 130 cal, 0 fat, 9g carbs & 9g sugar...plus a healthy 23g of protein!

Fluff! 1 c. ice cubes (or more if you prefer) 1 c. skim milk 2 scoops protein powder 1 packet sugar free jello Blend the ice and milk to make your smoothie base Add the protein powder and blend very well. It will begin to puff up and get creamy. Add in the jello powder -- just the packet of powder, NOT prepared jello --…

I use Slacker Radio on my phone and tune to the "BPM Workout" or "Dance Workout" channels... both have energetic music that keeps a consistent tempo from song to song.

Ice cubes 1 c. skim milk 2 scoops protein powder 1 packet of sugar free jello Blend ice and milk to create your smoothie base Add protein powder, blend more Add the powder packet of jello -- NO WATER OR PREPARED JELLO, JUST THE POWDER Blend. It will get thick and fluffy. Try vanilla protein powder with orange jello...omg…
