LOOKING FOR A SONG I HEARD...

So I was running this morning, listening to Slacker Radio (BPM Workout station), and a song came on that I fell in love with. I didn't want to fiddle with getting my phone out to mark it as a favorite, and figured I would just find it when I got home. Annnnddd I can't.
It was a techno-pop sound, male singer and the chorus was "run, run for your life".

dut, dut-du-dut, dut-du-dooo (synthesized sound)
--music stops, deep male voice--
run
run for your life

I know I am trying to find a needle in a haystack here, but I was hoping someone out there might know!

    Think I've heard it...sounds kinda familiar, the problem is, I listen to SOOOOO much music, all different kinds, styles, genres.... classical to metal, ABBA to ZZ Top, that it's not popping to the forefront. Can you remember anything else about it? Any other lyrics? Style?

    Gonna drive me crazy now, too! lol

    LOL! I know, right?!?

    The style is very dance/pop-ish kind of like Nicki Minaj's "Pound the Alarm" type of sound.
    Seeing that it was on Slacker, I may never find it again....dang that vast 38,000 song library! LOL

    nope. pumped up kicks is way too slow...this had to be at least 160 bpm...

    I do love that song though. it's so happy sounding yet so dark all at the same time.

    I listen to Slacker's BPM workout radio too and it sounds so familiar, but I can't think either, but if I hear it I will let you know!

    Not sure if this will help, but they play these guys pretty frequently: David Guetta, Chris Brown, Usher, UNKLE, the Postal Service, Swedish House Mafia, the Chemical brothers, Wayne G, Outkast and Will.i.am, Justin Bieber, Pittbull, Shiny toy guns, Underworld, and My Chemical Romance.

    Maybe take some of the ones that aren't so much Pop, but more techno or what seems more like the song you are thinking of and go from there???

    Ms Marla, we are thinking the same! I decided just to turn my slacker back on and let it play....they are bound to repeat it eventually! ha! I'll post it whenever I find it - it'll probably be a forehead smacker, like "Duh, I KNEW that"!!

    BTW, I wanted it for a playlist I am putting together for my daughter-in-law and I...we are running together in a Zombie Race next month, and when I heard it, it fit perfectly. Otherwise, I would just say oh well and forget about it.
