Just hit the QUOTE button on the lower right corner. Maybe I should have counted that as a NSV too....

A granny at the gym.... She carries the disinfectant bottle around with her and completely douses each machine before and after she uses it. Problem is, the spray in the air gets blown by the fans and we all end up with a mouthful of the stuff. UGH! Today I had enough and walked over and took the bottle while she was busy…

Greek yogurt here too! 1 cup of Fage plain greek yogurt with some fresh berries or melon is my go-to breakfast. Skip the granola. Oh, and coffee...with a side of coffee.

Hubby trails his fingertip along my torso and says, "I can't believe how flat your stomach is now".....after 2 babies, that's an instant melt and major NSV.

I say drink it how ever you prefer...that way you are sure to get enough. I don't like it ice cold either and am more apt to drink more if it's room temp or slightly chilled. Just my .02

Although it has 0 calories and tastes amazing, I would watch the sodium. It has 190 mg per tsp, and marinating takes a lot more than one little ol' teaspoon. Just my .02

Or Cap'n Crunch cereal..... one bowl is too many and a box full is never enough!

TWINKIES!!!!!! Probably a good thing I can't get 'em anymore.....

All this has gotten me thinking about the Presidential Fitness Test they do in gym class.... At my son's age, he has to run a 9 minute mile to pass, a 7 minute mile to get an award. That's 6-7 mph, and I know a lot of adults who can't do that. If students do not pass this test, are there consequences for the teacher? Much…

LMAO. You are after my heart.

interesting... the research that I found says a lot of the same as you mentioned, and I wanted to get some objective opinions and info before taking on the teacher myself. Thanks for that, all! I do know that it's creating a LOT of anxiety for my son as he dreads going to school on "gym days" just because of this.

Keep calm and drink water. Often, we mis-read the signal for dehydration as hunger. If you drink water and your stomach is still yelling at you, eat something within your allowance! Grab some protein! Hunger can be a head game...ask yourself why you want to eat before you put anything in your mouth. Tired, bored, anxious,…

I want to eat sushi and hot-n-sour soup without retaining 10 pounds of water. Hey, you asked....

It's water, sweetie. Don't freak out. Drink more water to "flush" your system and your body will regulate. After working your muscles, they retain fluid to repair themselves, and without proper fuel, they are not going to cooperate and give you the results that you want. So, drink up that water, maybe increase your protein…

protein. tuna on toast, cottage cheese and fresh fruit, greek yogurt and PB2, protein bar, or whip up a protein shake. make sure you are drinking a lot of water, too...protein and water will repair your muscles after all that work and take care of the hungries.

Same here. My back fat is the last to go. I started with not one but 3 big ol fat rolls on my lower back and that horrid bra muffin. I am down to a point where I have a crease where my rolls were but still have some bra muffin. Cardio mixed with lifting made a huge difference for me as I was tightening up muscles, and lean…

I find it really ironic that Sharon Osbourne is a spokesperson for the Atkins Diet....when she admittedly had lap band surgery (and then had it removed). What message does THAT send!?!

It's my car...a 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom (that's her in the ticker pic)! My Grandma bought it new in 1966 and has been in the family ever since. It's super sentimental to me...it still has that same smell I remember from growing up with her and I feel so so so lucky to have it as my own now. It also means, " a violent…
