Carbs are everywhere...but can't lose with Veggies. 70 to 80 % of everything I eat is plant based and I hold my carbs at 45% per day, if that helps you.

Truth is fat doesn't make you fat. Sugar does. Learn to lower your sugar intake and be accurate with calorie in and calorie out. It is that simple. The best to you.

I'm maintaining, and if I have a problem it would be I have a tendency to lose a pound or two. Because of my NEW LIFESTYLE, I have trouble gaining. By the way, just joined this group and glad to see our age group represented so well.

My suggestion is don't over think it. If you want to do it, just do it.

I'm 66 have lost 100 pounds and work out 6 days a week in addition to playing tennis, bike riding, and a few hoops pick up games. I don't believe age has much to do with it. It's how bad you want it. Being healthy makes me happy.

Seems to me the question is are you willing to make that commitment. If so, then just do it. If not, then I would think it's like the rest of your menu, portions.
