  • Looks pretty good to me, although you may want to reconsider 4 sets of 12 reps. If you don't feel sore the next day chances are you can go heavier! Try doing 4 sets of 8 reps and see if you feel it more the next day. Or start doing drop sets using a heavy weight to start off, and then drop to a lighter weight immediately…

  • i'm 5'2 :) add me if you like!
  • Any smart trick-or-treater would realize that putting a bowl in your pillow case just means you would have less room for actual candy and more unwanted weight. Fail.
  • LOL when I was a kid similar situation happened, there was a scarecrow on the lawn with a bowl of candy, me and my sister walked up to it and took some candy, my mom walked up and took some and it grabbed her and screamed BOOOOO! Next thing I knew me and my sister were being rushed home so my mom could change her jeans....…

  • you should try switching out the sour cream with plain greek yogurt! It has a very similar taste to sour cream, with 0 fat and tons of protein! I make baked nachos all the time and use it to replace the sour cream for dipping :)
  • Wow you look amazing! Great success story, i'm so jealous of your stomach! I can relate with your story because my boyfriend is a huge fitness freak! I've always been in to fitness too but I was always too shy to go in to the weight section of the gym, or stray away from cardio before we started dating. I'm pretty new to…

  • Not everything about cold winters is bad for your weight loss! Cold weather can actually speed up your metabolism, because your body has to use more energy to regulate your temp. Most people just tend to be less active in the winter, and eat poorly around the holidays. So as long as you stick to your regular exercise and…

  • Quest bars are my favourite! They have tons of flavours, I LOVE the cinnamon roll one, chocolate peanut butter, and apple pie! Most of them have about 170 calories, 20 grams of protein, 17 grams of fiber, and pretty low carb
  • Watched it yesterday, some very interesting stuff! If you liked that documentary you should also watch FRESH. Explains why supporting your local farmers is important, and emphasizes clean eating. Really turned me off of shopping at huge super markets, I prefer that my produce wasn't sprayed with an airplane full of…
  • does anyone have a foodfolio account? Right now I'm still waiting for them to e-mail me back with an invite it's kind of annoying :(
  • wow you look awesome! I can see your abs coming in :)
  • Greek yogurt is my new best friend! 18 grams of protein in 3/4 a cup of plain greek yogurt :). I usually buy plain and add in fruit and nuts. But if you have never tried it before you might want to buy a flavoured one or vanilla. The plain yogurt is actually a good replacement for any recipe that calls for sour cream, I…

  • bake green beans in the oven for 40 minutes with some olive oil and seasoning that you like, they are like veggie french fries without all the carbs :) Also try flourless pancakes made using greek yogurt! I usually make them using greek yogurt, one mashed ripe banana, one egg (or egg whites) blueberries and cinnamon. Also…
  • After my first round of insanity I only lost about 5lbs but gained a lot of strength and endurance. Despite the small scale movement I decided to do a second round, but this time i started with month 2 instead of doing the entire program over again. the second time around I noticed I could do a lot of the moves to their…

  • I just borrowed the CDs from a friend so I didn't have the nutrition guide. The first month I ate around 1400-1700 cals a day, depending on the intensity of the workout that day. I ate pretty healthy, fruits, veggies, tons of oatmeal, lean proteins, no white breads or pasta or fried food, only whole wheat grains. The…
