  • Chanticalle just skin tinted moisturiser and NARS blush in orgasm. And a super amazing mascara (I'm loving maybelline falsies at the moment!)
  • Yep I second the new rules suggestion - I'm on phase 3 now and it has honestly done more for my shape and weight loss than anything else I've done!! And I realise that's the strength training not specifically new rules but I found those program's easy to follow and I enjoy doing them.
  • I wasn't commenting on whether he should be lifting weights or not - as I said I have no experience or knowledge in the area. I'm well aware (as a diabetic who has always been very active) that diabetic children can do practically EVERYTHING non-diabetic children can do. The OP mentioned that he might need an extra snack…
  • I have no idea about the weight lifting for children part - but just a mention on the diabetes side of things (I'm a type 1) I always find that after a weights session my blood sugars skyrocket and quite a few of my D friends find the same thing - of course check with his endo but if he does get the all clear to lift don't…
  • I didn't realise that it was even a controversial issue these days......
  • Personally when I'm getting ready for the gym at 5am in the morning (in the dark) I open the drawer that (I assume) has my workout gear in it, fumble around until I find something that seems like a pair of leggings and a t-shirt and then I leave the house. Needless to say I have, at times, looked like a homeless person at…
  • I've had days before that have gotten close to 6,000 - but that was over an entire day. Don't stress too much over it. Sometimes it's helpful to try and work out of there was something that triggered it but otherwise move on and just go back to your plan. And maybe don't weigh in for a couple of days ;)
  • Hey I'm from Melbourne - feel free to add me.
  • Wow - you look amazing!! That bikini definitely loves you! The black bottoms make your butt look great but from the front they're not as flattering. The matching bottoms look fantastic on you!!!
  • I'm up at 5am and I work out from 6 - 7am then by the time I get ready, get to work, settle down etc I don't end up eating breakfast until sometimes 10am. My personal trainer told me I needed to be eating something within 15mins or so of my workout. I now have a mini protein bar as soon as I'm done with my workout and my…
  • Oh yours sounds yum. I have food envy. I was late home so all I had was grilled chicken breast with some Nando's sauce and steamed veggies. And 1 little chocolate for dessert!!

  • DAMN!! There are some nice looking men out there. It was a lovely distraction from my study!! Thanks boys :D
  • Haha I couldn't go past a good cucumber thread!! I was actually told this by my grandmother but I've never tried it.
  • Does that statistic include both type 1 and type 2? As a type 1 myself I realise there would only be a small proportion of type 1's and the majority will always be related to lifestyle factors but even that 5% (my dodgy estimate) of teens dealing with type 1 diabetes shouldn't be lumped in with all the type 2 diabetes…
  • Every morning - it's a habit I want to get out of but as much as its annoying to think about it all the time it does keep me motivated when I see the number shrinking :)
  • I find running fantastic for weight loss - if you check out marathon runners they're usually like bean poles, not muscular with fat on top so not sure where that tip really comes from. Maybe that whole 'fat burning' HR zone thing?
  • Yep I'm going with the grilled chicken and cous cous salad - I thought that was probably the best choice but I haven't had much experience with cous cous and wasn't sure about it. Thanks guys.
  • I once ate a whole family variety bucket from KFC - plus an extra large chips. These days I can barely finish a small chips with a burger.
  • One of my most excited BUMP's ever!! I miss creamy sauces!!!
  • Well I find many things distracting at the gym - mainly hot arms on cute guys. But I wouldn't dream of objectifying their bodies by telling them to cover up!! ;) boys please feel free to work out topless at my gym if the urge ever arises!!
  • Thank you for this! I quite frequently eat around my 1200 (I will admit some days I'm 100 cals or so under) and I exercise around 300 - 600 calories 6 days per week so some days I end up at around 600 NET. The amount of tsk tsk I get from friends on here and comments about not eating drives me insane!!! Thank you for being…
  • I've been getting this since I've decided to lose weight again. I'm currently at the top the the healthy BMI range but I want to be at the bottom end. I chose this purely because I've been that weight before, it means I'm in the clothes size that I like to be and also my joints love me being a bit lighter (my knees are…
  • Well I have my medic alert bracelet I put on when I go running (type 1 diabetic) so I'm assuming that should be enough (it has an emergency number on there).
  • Thanks heaps for all the suggestions everyone. Really appreciate it!
  • I've been missing ranch dressing sooo much! I'll have to see if this hidden valley ranch stuff is available here in Australia. Thanks!!
  • Love this!!! I'm trying it next Saturday night :)
  • I don't mention to any of my friends that I want to lose weight. Especially as someone who wants to go from the top of the healthy BMI range to the bottom of it - it can be a bit demotivating to be told all the time that you don't need to lose weight. I've never come up with a good come back (I'm not quick enough!) but I'm…
  • This is exactly what has held me back for soooo long - that stupid 'perfection' mentality. If I went and say ate fast food for lunch rather than logging it, dealing with it and moving on I would just not log for the day, eat what I wanted and start again the next day. Needless to say it didn't work ;)
