A couple of questions re NROL

Hi

I've just started NROL today and I have a couple of questions that I can't seem to work out from the book.

Firstly with my alternating sets do I still include a rest period after each exercise? Eg push ups / seated row - do I start with a set of push ups, rest then do my seated row or do I go straight to the seated row?

Also stage 1 includes 'step ups' - basically stepping onto a box while holding dumbbells but there isn't a box (or a step high enough) at my gym - can someone suggest another similar type exercise? Again I had a look in the book and couldn't really figure it out. Today I just jumped on the leg press but I'd prefer to be doing something a bit closer to the real exercise if that makes sense?

Thanks heaps.

You rest in between the exercises, not straight into the next one.

For the step try using a weight bench - they are quite high and can be wobbly so try a few out to find something stable! At a push you could use the bench that you sit on to do seated rows/lat pull downs etc.
