That is so wonderful - I too have at least 100 lbs to lose have lost 70 last year and since have gained 40. Started again and have lost 10 so far, and am pretty motivated, especially by seeing how fast I gained most back. At least it didn't take me as long to realize it and get back on track.

I'm looking for good recipes also. I've made soup too. You have to put it in the refrigerator overnight to let the fat rise to the top and then skim it off. It worked pretty good after putting veggies and a little wheat pasta in it.

Haven't tried this, but I received this tip recently: Goodbye Fruit Flies To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass, fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid; mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!

I like the branch through the window too. Why don't you call your landlord and ask him to either have her remove it or he remove it himself as it's his property, not yours.

Everyone's comments about things cooking fast while closed is absolutely correct. It's because the item is being cooked from the bottom and the top, so it takes 1/2 the time it would in a pan or regular grill.

Try to write it down in a little notepad. It keeps you aware of what you're eating. Enjoy your vacation!
