1. I want to look good for my husband 2. I want to be healthy, live a long time, and enjoy my grandkids (and possibly great grand kids)! 3. I want to teach my boys healthy habits for their lives. 4. I want to FEEL GOOD during my lifetime and have ENERGY

depends on who you talk to ;)

I'm in! A lot of people in our box are doing it and this will be my 3rd whole30 since January! Can't wait!

My new favorite shorts are from Under Armour. They had them on sale for $14.99 and now I have 5-6 pair. They're really comfortable and they come in cute colors. I just bought some Reebok CrossFit Nano 2.0 shoes. I like them so far. They're very lightweight and flexible.

Awesome! I'm a Crossfit mom, too. I have 2 boys (3 and 1). I have been Crossfitting since April 2010 (with a little break to have #2).

1. Find an activity you LOVE (for me, it's CF) 2. Find some accountability (a lot of people at our gym eat paleo and my husband is on board with me 110%) 3. Abs are made in the kitchen! No amount of working out is going to undo your bad food choices. 4. Start to try to understand your cravings and WHY you want to eat…

My goal is to lose fat. I shoot for around 55/30/15 F/P/C. Keeping carbs around 50g/day. Why do you speak of ketosis as if it's a bad thing?

I wanted to ask if you had a c-section because your "before" tummy looked like mine used to. Still trying to totally flatten out that "pouch." Do you feel like your c/s scar area of your stomach is flat (can't tell from the "after" pic)?

WOW!!! Thanks for posting! Any idea what your BF% is?

Quit buying bread and quit buying things with gluten. Then you won't have it as a temptation and you'll figure out something else to feed your kids! :)

The answer to your problems is Whole9 and their whole30 program. Well, that was the answer for me anyway. Doing their whole30 program got rid of my cravings. I just didn't even want to eat most of those foods anymore. Once I ate a tiny bit of sugar or gluten, my cravings came back full force. I know so many people preach…

Oh, you had me going with you until this!

I understand because my legs are very muscular. My calves have always been big. I've just accepted this as how my body is going to be. As I lose fat I'm really starting to like my legs because you can SEE the muscle in my thighs and, well, I just think that's pretty awesome. Muscle is going to keep burning fat and muscle…

It doesn't work for me either, at least not while I'm trying to lose body fat. I'll have 1 or 2 meals with gluten or sugar and I bloat up. I'll "gain" 5-6 pounds and it takes all week for me to shed it again. I can see myself allowing sugar or grains once or twice a week when I get where I want to be, but not now. If you…

I shoot for 100g+ protein and under 50g carbs everyday... so my fat just kind of falls somewhere. It's usually around 80-100g. I have my percentages set to 55/30/15 F/P/C.

Wow! You look phenomenal and a lot younger, too!
-
Awesome!!! I love the bottom left, you can definitely see some definition there.

Congratulations, you look great! You look a lot younger too. What was the hardest part of losing 100lbs?

1.) How old are your children and how many do you have? 2 boys, 3.5 and 11 months. 2.) Will you be planning to have more kids in your future? Nope! We are done. 3.) How was your pregnancy/delivery? First was a c/s, second was a VBAC 4.) When do you fit in time to exercise? My husband and I CrossFit together, we either take…

My husband and I have basically eaten the same foods (give or take a little) since January. I have lost 30 pounds, he has lost 40. So, yes, he lost more weight than I did. I do think men lose weight faster/easier than women... however it does sound like those women you were talking to were just making excuses for…

18% is my goal!! I'm about 29% now :/ Started at 37% Yikes. I wish there were body fat tickers instead of the "pounds lost" tickers.

I just posted this in another thread, so I kind of feel like an attention *kitten*... but here it is again :) I'm 5'5" I went from 190 to 155. I do Crossfit.

The "after" was taken a couple of months before I got pregnant with #2. Happy to say I currently look very much like the "after" in 2010 :) "Before" 190 "After" 155

One rep! Those are my 1RMs, sorry if that wasn't clear :) I am (obviously) new to these boards, and I have no idea what topics are exhausted regularly. It's a good message to get out to women who haven't heard it. If the title doesn't apply to you, no one is forcing you to click on it.
-
Oh, yes I totally agree with you! I just had a bad morning this morning where I thought my chest/back/shoulders are looking too big. Please, everyone, just IGNORE ME!! :) Here is what I meant to say: I whole heartedly agree with the message you're getting out here. LIFT HEAVY THINGS! The more muscle you have the more fat…

I can clean and jerk 145#, OH squat 115# deadlift 220#-235#... and I actually do think I'm getting bulky. My husband disagrees, but I'm seeing some pretty big biceps and traps. I'm not going to quit what I'm doing (because I love it)... but I am definitely adding some significant muscles. I agree the 3# hand weights won't…
