Hello fellow dodgy-tummy sufferers! I have IBS which was triggered by severe food poisoning/gastro about 3 years ago. It's not too severe, eating greasy or fried foods often makes it worse. If i eat fairly healthily then I can control it. I tend to get very bloated after any large amount of food. This is irritating.…

Thank you for the responses. I am pretty sure that I won't binge tonight, I am feeling really sluggish from the after effects of all that food. I can see why fasting every now and again does your body good in terms of flushing out any nasties.

I love love love BFBM! It is amazing. The first time I did all 7 circuits I thought I was going to die (in a good way). I find it seems to go quickly, as you change moves constantly. I also find that it does help with toning, especially on the stomach. Great Cardio Workout. I also have NMTZ, I have only done one section so…

There aren't really any inherently bad ingredients.. Just combinations of lots of ingredients to make processed foods. Cakes/ice cream/crisps/puddings/calorie laden sauces with cream in Eat in moderation- go light on unhealthy fats. Good luck

Such a great show. Logging is a great way of actually seeing what you eat. There was one woman who was convinced she was on a diet and wasn't eating dinners with her family. She would cook for them and just pick at bits while cooking. It turned out in one day, she didn't go longer than 30 minutes without eating…

Thank you, I agree... I think I needed my head to change its way of thinking.. To stop seeing it as a 'diet' and seeing it as a life change. :)

Thank you Louise. I really love MFP for the support and the chance to discuss these positive changes with other people maybe experiencing the same things!

Thanks very much. I will make sure to load up the veggies too. Garlic bread is good!

Because I was hoping that someone who had tried them would say that they were enjoyable...I haven't tried them yet. Boo to your negative tone.

Yeah I'm definitely not against pasta. I had wholemeal pasta salad tonight. I was just wanting to try something new. Luckily I only bought one sachet for £1.99!

HA... that bad? :(

well, according to the website... Zero Noodles are made up of water along with a very special type of soluble fibre called Konjac Glucomannan. It is this fibre that makes Zero Noodles so crucial in the fight against obesity and many common health problems. It is believed that Konjac Glucomannan has the highest water…

Ew fishy rubberbands... Definitely feel that the Asian path is the way to go with flavourings.. I will try chopping them too. Thanks.
-
Ah yes, I have just looked at the zero noodle website and they suggest putting them in Miso soup.. I also have Boullion, the vegetable stock drink. I may try them in that... Thanks for the suggestion
-
Ah yes I can imagine dry frying them makes the texture a little less horrid! Yam noodles?
-
I've heard about them and saw them in the health food store today so couldn't resist trying. Looking at the ingredients it says Konnyaku Glucomannan Flour, calcium hydroxide and water... Yum. lol but 8 calories, gluten free with zero fat, sugar and salt.

Uh oh! Not good news. I like wholemeal pasta, especially with loads of veggies and chill flakes. But regular pasta with a hell of a lot of cheese is incredible!!!
