Made an avocado salsa last night and a tasty lime cilantro marinade this morning and put some chicken breasts in it so I can just throw them on the grill after work and have a healthy dinner for me and my family.

I love Skinny Pop. I just had it for a snack yesterday. :)

I'm 4'11", and I was able to lose 40 pounds after having my first child eating 1800 calories a day and cutting calories as I lost weight until I was around 1600 calories plus strength training and running. I started back on MyFitnessPal about two months ago a few months after having had my second child, and began tracking…

Always looking to make more friends for the added motivation and to get ideas from other people's food diaries.

You can add me. I love having friends to keep me motivated.

Feel free to add me, I'm a mom of two.

Different pills will affect everyone differently. For me, when I went on the pill, I steadily gained weight and had a hard time losing weight on it. After I had my son, I decided not to get back on the pill, and when I started exercising and changing my eating habits, the weight slid off. I'm not sure what your diet is…

While I agree with many of the people who say you can eat those foods in smaller portions and add something healthy, sometimes it's hard not to overindulge on that food. If you're worried about that, plan ahead and when you cook your own meals during the week, for two of them, double the recipe, then freeze the second…

During the week, I run on my lunch hour around 12:30 p.m. I have a gym in my building, so I'll run outside or on the treadmill if it's extremely hot and humid or freezing out and then shower and get back to work. It's a nice break in the day, and since my partner travels a lot and it's just me watching our son when he's…

So many foods, but I would have to say dark chocolate. I just have to have chocolate in my life or I'm not a very nice person.

Great idea to make your own frozen burritos. I know what's going in them and they're good when I need a quick meal. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I'm definitely making these. Thanks for sharing!

I can't wait to try many of these recipes! I've just made a pilaf with quinoa, so looking forward to some variety.

Some great things on here that I'll have to try.

When I transitioned from running on the treadmill to outside, it was a lot harder and I hated it, at first. But, it got easier the more I did it, and now, I can't stand running on a treadmill. I found that when I checked my form and made sure I was running correctly (not hunching over), it also helped a lot. Just wait till…

I like to run, and since I'm training for a 10K and working my way up to a half marathon, I do cardio six days a week and depending on the type of run or cross training I'm doing, it's anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour (for long runs). I also strength train 2 - 3 times a week. And, also do a lot of walking since my…

During the work week, I have a smoothie for breakfast every morning. I do a different one each day to change things up. It's a great way for me to fit in fruits, veggies, calcium and fiber. On the weekends, I like to make something with eggs, be it scrambled eggs with tomatoes and avocado, an omelette or a fried egg on an…

Linguine with clams and a side salad. I haven't made this in a long time, so really looking forward to it.

I'm 35, and I'm in way better health than I was in my 20s. Plus, I'm a lot wiser these days. ;-)

Lots of great recommendations. I need some new ones that won't pop out myself, so I'll have to look into some of these.
