Totally agree! He was so obsessed with winning that he could never see the good things happening to him along the way. I was rooting for Ramon (by the way how foxy does he look now? Jess is a lucky lady.)

If I had to guess, I'd say the diet pills are the cause of your problems.

He became my favorite trainer when someone was complaning that they wanted to stop because it hurt. He said "it hurts to look this good. I'm in pain everyday." I laughed so hard. Then I wrote it on a post-it and taped it to my mirror.

All time favorite: Turbo Fire. Second place is tied ChaLEAN Etreme and Turbo Jam. Then Celeb Fit Club Boot Camp followed by anything Biggest Loser.

Pretty sure that writer read my mind (well, my mind from back in the day).

Some of my favorites are "It never gets easier; you get stronger" "I will do what you won't today, so I can do what you can't tomorrow." "Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated." "Strength is the product of struggle." Another one isn't exactly an inspirational quote, but it makes me laugh and keeps…

I'd say lightly active. Congrats on finding a teaching job, by the way. I've been trying to get one for two years.

I'm starting to think we were separated at birth or something

Looking better and having looser clothes are always a big motivator, but I think the best motivation is knowing that if I go back to where I was, I'll have to start all over again. I worked waaaaay too hard to let that happen.

For lower body moves, I use 25s, for arms I use 15s and for shoulders I use 8s..but the first month of it you'd want to go lighter..maybe 5, 8, and 10 or 15. The less expensive option would be to get a couple of resistance bands..maybe light and medium resistance.

Balloon..tied it around my ankle and the foot eventually fell off. Not sure that would work in the real world. *crosses fingers*

Don't worry if you don't get the choreography exactly right the first time, or even the first 10 times, and certainly don't worry about modifying. If you're moving, you're burning calories. Start incorporating the regular moves one at a time as they become easier, not necessarily easy. You'll get there. Above all else,…

If you're still not ready after that, consider trying Turbo Jam. It's less intense than TF, but still really good. It got me ready for TF.

I'm in week 13 of the Turbo/ChaLEAN Extreme hybrid. As far as tips go, it's really intense, so if you need to take a break, do it. Get some water, modify moves, whatever. Just don't tire yourself out too quickly. Most importantly, enjoy it! It's an amazing program.

Turbo Jam is a lot easier than Insanity. It's still a great workout, though, depending on how in shape you are already, and what you're looking for in a workout. If you want an easier workout that has good music and is fun, TJ is the way to go. If you want a harder workout that is more bootcamp style, Insanity is where…

I've been on it for a year and have still lost weight. It's coming off slower than it was a year ago, but it's coming off. Other than that, I haven't had any negative side effects at all.

I listened twice and didn't hear anything..doesn't mean it's not there, though.

Which song said something bad? I can only halfway hear the music because I'm huffing and puffing so loudly  I did it today and kept an ear out in hopes of hearing it, but I didn't :ohwell:

If I eat something heavy like a bowl of oatmeal, I wait 30-60 minutes. Something light, though, like toast with pb, I can workout immediately. I think it also depends on how intense your workout is going to be.

You can get some good workout DVDs for dirt cheap on Amazon. That's how I've done all my exercises. Biggest Loser is really good for beginners.
-
I just think about something that makes me angry (usually an ex), and suddenly I've got a burst of energy to get much more intense.
-
I've done both and I think Turbo is way more fun. They're both great workouts, but if I can get similar results from both, why do the one I don't enjoy as much?

I have a round face (which I'm not a fan of, btw), but it's slimming a bit. I've got pictures on my profile you can check out if you want.

I just did Fire 60 for the first time today..loved it! In no particular order, my favorites are this one, Fire 55 and Fire 45. I don't like Fire 30, though. HIIT 25, I can take it or leave it..I like some of the sequences and don't like others on it. Abs 10, though...ugh. I don't mind the Sculpt 30 and Tone 30, but they're…

It's awesome! I love it. As far as doing other stuff with it, I'm doing it as a hybrid with ChaLEAN Extreme, so yes, you can add your own strength in with it if you like (or anything else for that matter). It's primarily cardio, but it does have a couple of ab routines as well as sculpt and toning (with resistance bands),…

I really like it. I haven't decided what I'm going to do after I finish, but I know I'm going to do a round of straight TF after that.

Magazines aren't books (much to the disappointment of students everywhere, I'm sure), but Vegetarian Times has good recipes.

Ooh that tricep section is killer!

Awesome!

Neither..I believe my HRM and only my HRM.
