*insert witty line about making new friends here* So, it's early and I can't think of anything amazing to say, but I always love new friends. Feel free to add me =] I get online daily, and try to spend some time encouraging all of my active friends. I like to surround myself with positive people so if you are a…

Sending you a request =D Anyone else can feel free to add me as well

You can totally do this Megan! I'll send you a friend request and we can encourage each other. I was 502lbs when I started, and if I can change my life I know you can to! I personally started with changing the way I ate. I cut way back on calories and stopped drinking sugary drinks like soda, juice, and sweet tea. Message…

Thank you! I've been trying to find out what it tastes like. I didnt like the chocolate when I tried it and so I wanted to see if I was more of a greenberry person, based on what you said I think I might be =]

I can't accept a compliment...at best I get very awkward feeling, and at worst I feel like they are just saying it to say something nice. I never believe them

I use a body wash meant for men. The scent could be a mental thng but I do feel cleaner when I use men's body wash than when I smell all fruity or floral.

I start on December 24th and stop on the 26th =p Seriously though, the radio stations here start it so early I usually get very tired of it by the time Christmas gets here

I bake. I bake things I can't even take a taste of because of the gluten in them. I fill my house with the yummy smells, and then I give it all away lol

We will unfortunately just have to agree to disagree here. Diet and exercise was the FIRST thing we tried to control my diabetes, then when that didn't work well enough I was put on meds, and then I was taken off my meds and no longer have to take them now that my diet and exercise has caught up and is able to regulate my…

Good for you! I had to give up coffee a while back and with my new eating habits I rarely miss the caffeine. I do love the taste of coffee though so sometimes I miss that. You going to keep going with the veggies now that your personal challenge is over then?

I'm diabetic and my dietitian and doctor said it was not good to completely limit carbs. I've seen several doctors and nutritionists and dietitians since I became diabetic and all of them have instructed me that my meals should look something like the picture I'll link below. Without carbs if you are on meds then your…

Wrong thing. That is if what you truly meant to do was make him feel better. All you did for him was drag up old wounds. The only person a year old apology helps is you, it removes your guilt...which if just wanting to feel better for yourself was the goal then it was the right thing to do. Its all about perspective.

You called him a kid, and you are pretty young yourself...and I think that has a lot to do with it. As we age the skin naturally looses its elasticity. Thats just life. Thats why we dont look the same at 83 as we did at 23. You were young enough and lucky enough to still have that natural elasticity. Others of us aren't…

I was just telling someone this about myself last night. When I look in the mirror I still myself from before I started losing my weight. I feel the need to justify myself to others too whenever I post my current weight by posting my starting weight because I still have so far to go. I even feel like in some ways I'm less…

Yay! Unicorns =D Thanks for the post...really a great reminder

Being that I'm diabetic and I have to watch my sugar/carb intake carefully...sugar is sugar to me. However I have had to take classes for my diabetes and if I have the choice between an orange juice and an orange I should opt for the whole fruit because of the extra time it takes to digest and how slowly the sugar is…

Yeah because nearly every post started on the forums isn't one that has been repeated before. You'd have to basically paste that remark on every thread on MFP. As for the OP, I saw the documentary, but I don't think juicing is a very healthy way to go about things. It sacrifices nutrition that I wouldn't be willing to give…
