Congratulations. You have done very well on the fit tests. When do you start the next round?
-
@greeenerone - Way to go! Did you meet your goal for the last round? ^^^^ Thanks. I didn't meet my goal in the last round, I think I did very well though. My ultimate goal is to lose 10kgs but I understand that it may not happen within this round either. I lost 5kgs in the last one even if my form and stamina was terrible…

Hello everyone, I have started round 2 of insanity after a short medical break, it seems to be going better than the last round, maybe I have some of the stamina I built from the last one. Hopefully I will get better results this time.
-
I did them back to back, since you have rested during recovery week you will have the stamina to go through but it won't be easy and you will definitely feel it later.
-
What's your current weight and your body fat%?
My current weight is 65kg, I am aiming for 55kg, height is 5.4ft. I don't know what my body fat % is.

@greenerone - I, too, will finish Insanity this week! I've decided to start another round of P90X/Insanity hybrid starting April 8. I'll still be using this board to track my accountability so feel free to join regardless of what you decide to do next. :) Have you seen the result that you wanted?
____ I have done…

I am on the last week of insanity, I have done so well with this programme that I almost don't want it to end although I feel that my body is ready for a change. I am surprised and kind of disappointed that there is no cardio recovery this week, I look forward to it every week. I haven't yet decided what to do next, I have…

I liked recovery week because I knew that the next month will be hard and the body needs to rejuvenate a bit before the next round. I had a lot of energy as I entered month two but my body hurt a lot the first week of month two, I didn't hurt at the beginning of the programme.
-
Great job. The changes are quite visible. What will you be doing next?
-
You are doing great, keep pushing, month two will give you even better results.
-
I thought I was relatively fit when I started insanity but I found out that I really wasn't. When I got my HRM two weeks into insanity, I couldn't keep within my zone but now at the end of week 7, I am in zone for most of the routines, I can do more push-ups than when I started and my stamina is amazing. Diet-wise, I have…

I don't know if it will be the same for you but after starting month two my muscles hurt a lot for about three days. You may want to avoid the pain while on vacation.
-
I am not loving max-plyo, may be it's because so much time is spent on the floor but I am not getting the after exercise high that I get from the other routines. I hope it becomes more fun when I get stronger.
-
Great job. What other physical changes did you experience?
-
Yeah, my muscles must have gone to sleep during recovery week, glad to hear that it gets better soon.

Day 2 killed me too. I didn't get sore all through month 1 but I am so sore from day one of month 2 that I thought I wouldn't make it through day 2. I did get through even if I have this bug doing the rounds in my house and the soreness from yesterday, I don't think I did as well as I could have done otherwise. I hope it…
-
You have done great. Very encouraging.
-
Day 1 of month two was great but tough. I took more breaks than I would have wanted but I did sweat buckets and I felt great after it was over. I am looking forward to tomorrow.
-
Luck! I will start month two tomorrow, I am a bit anxious but seeing others who are soldering on is motivating.
-
I create my exercise and write what I am doing that day. When I have the exercises for the month filled, I alter the calories burned as per my Heart Rate Monitor.
-
I can't do the push-ups either and I am going on to month 2 on Tuesday. I figure that since they are the only exercise that I am having trouble with I will do one or two push-ups in each repeat and hopefully by the end I will get better at it, meanwhile I will get the benefits of the other exercise routines. I will repeat…

I would like to join, I have 11 to go.
-
My day off is on a Monday, so I just enjoy it but I walk around feeling like I need to accomplish something that day.
-
Bump
-
Thanks for replying. Is the cleansing spray for the weave or the scalp?
-
Don't skip the recovery week, it's still great exercise. I would suggest that you follow the programme through as it is. If you repeat month 1 you might get bored before the month is over and it could disorient you. I think it would be easier to finish and restart the entire programme.

Your body is toning up.

Hi, I am on recovery week of insanity. I did 30 day shred and had been running on the treadmill for sometime but this is the first time I am combining exercise and calorie counting, I hope that I see some change. So far I have lost 4 kilos but I have since stalled although I can see my body firming-up.
-
Concentrate on form, work at your own pace but push yourself, you will be surprised at how much you are capable of. Best of luck.
-
I think it's the plyo cardio curcuit. Max is for month 2.
